NEWS: Walt Disney World Announces Closures and Cancellations in Preparation for Hurricane Dorian
Whether you live in Florida, you’re vacationing in Disney World, or you like to keep in touch with the news — you’re likely keeping an eye on the Category 4 hurricane on its way to the coast.
For the safety of visitors and Cast Members, Disney has announced a few closures and cancellations for Hurricane Dorian.
In a statement on their website, Disney World has informed guests of the precautions they’re taking for the upcoming storm.
At the moment, all sporting events have been canceled and Blizzard Beach is closed.
Disney is also contacting guests who have current or upcoming reservations at resorts like the Treehouse Villas at Saratoga Springs, the Bungalows at Polynesian, Copper Creek Cabins at Wilderness Lodge, and Fort Wilderness to make preparations for the hurricane.
