REVIEW: This Restaurant Provides One of the Most Unique Experiences at Disney World Hotels

When it comes to unique dining experiences, you’re sure to find them at Disney World. You can dine with your favorite characters, eat at a rooftop restaurant, and experience themes straight out of an animated movie. We love the food at Disney World, but it’s the atmosphere and entertainment that escalate the experience.

It’s CAKE TIME!

While you can find these fun and one-of-a-kind restaurants around the parks and hotels, there is one dining location that provides one of the MOST unique experiences of all the Disney World hotels. If you want to celebrate your birthday with a cute event, you’ll want to head over to Disney’s Boardwalk Inn Resort!

At Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, you’ll find The Cake Bake Shop Restaurant and Bakery. This restaurant is owned by Gwendolyn Rogers, and it is a BEAUTIFUL dining experience. The atmosphere is sweet and elegant, and the food is spectacular. We love stopping by for a slice of cake, afternoon tea, or for a brunch date.

While you’ll catch us here on any random day of the week, trying a new slice of cake, we also love to celebrate birthdays here! This is because birthdays are EXTRA special at The Cake Bake Shop. You’re treated most adorably on your birthday at this restaurant, including getting an exciting birthday wish experience.

We stopped by for a birthday treat at The Cake Bake Shop, and now we may never go anywhere else to celebrate. If you let the servers know that it’s your birthday, you’ll be treated to a fun Pixie Glitter Wishes experience! You get your dessert with a tall candle in it. Then your server brings over pixie glitter, taps a little in your hand, and a little over your head. You make a wish and blow the pixie dust into the candle to blow out the candle. It’s the perfect magical Disney World birthday wish, and of course, the dessert is fantastic.
