Pineapple Upside Down Cake

You’ll find the Pineapple Upside Down Cake at Aloha Isle Refreshments, and just like you, we at DFB also rank this one as one of our favorites. It’s truly a national treasure.

Hello Old Friend

It’s pineapple upside-down cake topped with the fan-favorite Dole Whip. There’s not much that compares to Dole Whip slightly soaking into a dense pineapple upside-down cake that also has LOTS of pineapple chunks baked right into it. Each bite is PACKED with tropical goodness.

So many cakes!

Disney really packed a cake full of DOLE pineapple chunks and then said, “Let’s top it with DOLE Whip.” It’s no wonder you all ranked this as one of the best Magic Kingdom snacks. It quite possibly holds up as one of the best in Disney World.

SNACK TIME on the Dining Plan: Pineapple Upside-Down Cake from Aloha Isle

Of course, the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake isn’t the only snack DFB readers voted as a top snack in Magic Kingdom. From highest to lowest ranking, here are the other top snacks at Magic Kingdom as voted by our readers.

Cinnamon Rolls

The cinnamon rolls in Magic Kingdom are a great option for a SWEET treat or breakfast, and clearly, our readers agree! You can find cinnamon rolls at a few locations: Mickey-shaped cinnamon rolls at Main Street Bakery, the cinnamon roll at Gaston’s Tavern, and the Mickey-shaped bacan, pecan, caramel cinnamon roll at Westward Ho Refreshments.

The Mickey Cinnamon Roll from Westward Ho

The long-time DFB favorite cinnamon roll has been Gaston’s Cinnamon Roll, but recently, we’ve started loving the Westward Ho cinnamon roll. Unfortunately, though, this one is only available at breakfast. You guys DID agree with us that Gaston’s Cinnamon Roll totally tops the Main Street Bakery Cinnamon Roll. (But the seasonal rolls at Main Street Bakery are fun!)

Savory Spring Rolls

The Cheeseburger Spring Rolls from the Adventureland Spring Roll Cart are CLEARLY a DFB reader favorite! We had lots of you vote for these yummy little snacks, and we could not agree more.

YUMMM –Adventureland Spring Rolls

You’ll most commonly see the Cheeseburger Spring Rolls at the Spring Roll Cart (which is A-OKAY by us), but some other flavors we’ve seen featured are pepperoni pizza, Reuben, bacon mac and cheese, and buffalo chicken.

Sundaes

Artisan sundaes are a staple snack at Magic Kingdom. There’s probably not many better things in the world than enjoying a shareable sundae with your family on a hot day in the park. (My family loves to sit and eat a Plaza Ice Cream Parlor sundae at the very end of the night on our last day in Magic Kingdom before heading out. It’s a great way to take in the beauty of the park at night and embrace the magic.)

Plaza Ice Cream Sundae

You can get sundaes all around the park. Storybook Treats, Auntie Gravity’s, and Plaza Ice Cream Parlor have some very yummy sundaes.

Corn Dog Nuggets

While we at DFB prefer the hushpuppies at Columbia Harbour House, you guys voted that the Casey’s Corner Corn Dog Nuggets are a fan-favorite. However, if you pair these with the $1 plastic cheese for dunking, we’re in!

Casey’s Corner Corn Dog Nuggets

If you can’t get to Casey’s Corner, you can also pick these up at the Westward Ho kiosk in Frontierland, too (you just won’t be able to get the plastic cheese with them there, and that COULD be a deal breaker).

We DO love our plastic cheese!

These are Disney World fans’ top favorite snacks at Magic Kingdom, as voted on by you guys! We gotta say, you all have great taste. We can’t wait to snack around the kingdom with you all.
