Something MAJOR Is Missing From Magic Kingdom’s Overnight Changes
Everyone, stay calm! It’s finally spooky season in Walt Disney World!

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party kicks off this week on August 15th, with tons of new treats, live entertainment, and more! Over in Magic Kingdom, the Halloween decorations are appearing, and we are too excited that one of the best times of the year is finally here. Let’s check out all of the decor around the park!
Can you hear us singing “This is Halloween” from where you’re sitting, because we are screaming it! We have been covering the Disney Parks for 15 years, and we don’t know if we’ve ever seen a Magic Kingdom “transformation” take quite this long. Last week, we noticed signs that the Halloween decor was drawing near at the TTC and Magic Kingdom, but the park hadn’t made the full transformation yet.
The first sign of spooky season at the TTC!
During our park walk today, Disney finally gave us what we have been begging for! At the beginning of Main Street, we spotted so many fall colored banners!
Fall on City Hall!
While we are pumped to see these banners, we can’t help but wonder where are the Mickey pumpkins?! Traditionally, Disney does an overnight flip when bringing in holiday decorations, but this year it seems like they’re taking it bit by bit.
We love the Fall vibes!
We won’t lie, our entire team was so sad when we didn’t spot a single Mickey Pumpkin in the park.
Where are the pumpkins?
We’re hoping maybe tomorrow is the day that the full transformation is completed.

While we are still waiting on a few familiar faces to pop up, we are so excited that Fall has finally arrived in any capacity. At the time of writing, there are also no Jack-O-Lanterns to welcome you at the ticket tap in before you enter the park or additional Pumpkin people on Main Street.
Nothing to see here!
Fingers crossed they appear before Mickey’s Not So Scary begins on August 15th. If you don’t know, Not-So-Scary is a special ticketed event that takes place in Magic Kingdom after the normal park hours.
Mickey’s Not So Scary!
You can expect to find lower crowds, rare characters, specialty snacks, and limited-time entertainment! Plus, it’s the only time adults can wear full costumes in Disney World! It runs on select nights from August 15th through October 31st. We have our costumes and tickets at the ready to check it all out later this week.
