Something NEW Has Popped Up at the Haunted Mansion in Magic Kingdom

There is no place better to go if you are looking to find 999 happy haunts. Grim grinning ghosts are out to socialize, and the Haunted Mansion attraction in Magic Kingdom just got an upgrade!

And even if you don’t want to enter the Haunted Mansion, you can still admire the upgrade! Disney changed the look of the entrance to the Haunted Mansion, and we are sharing the new look with you.

The Haunted Mansion is showing off some brand-new ground, and it is looking fresh! We spotted some new paving, and it really does help brighten up the entrance to the Haunted Mansion.

Previously, there was similar paving, but it was rougher, lighter gray, and not quite as striking as the new groundwork.

The groundwork is almost fully complete; we just noticed a small section towards the end that still needed the pattern to be added. It may not be a new character or an updated scene on the ride, but we are always excited to see improvements being made around Disney World.

While the new groundwork is a relatively small project, many large construction projects are happening around Disney World. Construction is well underway for the new Pueblo Esperanza land coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and construction for the new Monsters, Inc. land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios is likely to begin soon as Muppets Courtyard has been closed down. There will also be construction starting for the new Cars Land, Piston Peak National Park, in the Magic Kingdom later this year.
