NEWS: Game-Changing Updates Just Hit the Disney World App

The My Disney Experience app is basically your secret weapon to having the best Disney World trip you can!

It’s where you’ll find park wait times and maps, your hotel room key, dining menus, and you can even order your food from it — plus a whole lot more. We’re pretty big fans of it if you can’t tell, and we’re singing its praises once again because game-changing updates just hit the Disney World app.

Walt Disney World’s My Disney Experience app and the Disneyland app were updated to include more filters on the map, along with improving the filter options. You can still search Wait Times, Dining, Attractions, Entertainment, and more, but now there is a drop-down menu that allows you to toggle between other filters…

…like locations in the parks, Disney Springs, and hotels.

The Dining tab got an upgrade as well! When you click on the Dining icon, you’ll be given the option to filter by location along with whether or not a restaurant takes Mobile Order or Advance Dining Reservations.

And, you can still see the wait times and options to join the Walk-up Waitlist at certain restaurants on the map when that option is available.

Another welcome update to the My Disney Experience app is that Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass have been combined into a single calendar when you go to purchase on the app. Just toggle between the Multi Pass view…

…and the Single Pass options to make your selections. From there, you’ll be able to purchase them all at once (if you’re purchasing more than one option).

The My Disney Experience app has come a long way since it first rolled out, and we’re thrilled to see these changes that will make planning your day a bit easier when you’re on your trip.
