This Is the LOWEST Price Weve Seen for Genie in Disney World Since Recent Change

Ever heard the phrase, “Never let them know you’re next move?” Well, Disney certainly seems to take that stance. One moment, we’re enjoying a nice, clear World Showcase Lagoon; the next, there are giant poles sticking up out of the water. Yeah, you might as well give up trying to predict what Disney will do next.

Genie+ is the new FastPass+

Recently, Disney made a pretty big change to its FastPass+ replacement, known as Genie+. Let’s see how the new system is working in early July!

Ever since Disney introduced Genie+ back in 2021, the system has continued to grow and change.

Back on June 27th, Disney changed its Genie+ system so that guests can purchase Genie+ specifically for the park that they want to visit. Guests can choose to buy a single-park Genie+ option or a multi-park option.

Ever since the change went into effect, we’ve seen some pretty high Genie+ prices for certain parks (mainly Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios). Keep in mind, though, that the price changes based on the date and crowd level, thanks to Disney’s date-based pricing method.

The price is usually higher when the park is more crowded

For example, on July 4th, Genie+ was $29 to use with either the Magic Kingdom or Multiple Parks option. Genie+ cost $21 at EPCOT, $26 at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and $18 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Now, Genie+ has reached the lowest price since Disney introduced its new park-specific Genie+ option. Magic Kingdom and the Multiple Parks options are $23, EPCOT is $17, Disney’s Hollywood Studios is $21, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom is $15 per person.

Of course, this is all relative; Genie+ cost $15 per person, per day back when it debuted. (And before that, FastPasses were free.) That said, as of July 8th, Genie+ is the cheapest we’ve seen in a while.
