DATE REVEALED: New 100th Anniversary Experiences Will Start in EPCOT Soon!

Disney World sure knows how to have a good time.

Between holiday parties, birthdays, festivals, and more — there’s almost always some sort of exciting celebration happening in the parks. Right now, we’re in the midst of The Walt Disney Company’s 100th Anniversary and we’ve already seen quite a few new treats, merch, and entertainment — but it looks like more is on the way to Disney World!

If you haven’t already booked your EPCOT trip this year — now might be the perfect time! Disney just announced a ton of new 100th anniversary experiences will be arriving at the park on September 22nd and we can’t wait to check them all out.

A new, platinum Mickey Mouse statue will be in World Celebration in front of Spaceship Earth, and you’ll also be able to take advantage of the anniversary Magic Shots and PhotoPass ops throughout the parks.

Speaking of Spaceship Earth, it will “light up each night with special colors and lights accompanied by the Disney100 anthem, a unique rendition of ‘When You Wish Upon a Star.'” We love it when the ol’ golf ball puts on a show, and we promise we’ll try not to cry during this one.

You’ll also find a new Disney100 mural in World Celebration located along the walkway that features some of your favorite characters — if you’re able to spot them! And of course, Mickey and Minnie will be decked out in their best for a new meet and greet in the Imagination! pavilion.
