How To Travel Non-Stop to Orlando For Less Than $100

Orlando International Airport is the largest airport near Disney World and is where most guests tend to fly into.

Orlando International Airport

The travel hub is expanding its services with a new Brightline train terminal that will connect the airport to destinations in South Florida like Fort Lauderdale and Miami. In addition, Orlando International (or MCO) is bringing on additional nonstop routes!

MCO tweeted out that Avelo Airlines will begin to offer nonstop routes to their airport from Charlottesville, Virginia, starting May 3, and Brownsville, Texas, on May 17. If you live near either of these cities you will soon be able to take advantage of these new routes!

Avelo Airlines is a low-cost carrier that is based out of Houston, Texas. When we checked their prices for these routes, we often found plenty of options for under $100 roundtrip! Similar flights on other carriers can cost as much as $400, so if you’re on a budget you may want to check out this airline.

We’ve already seen several other airlines add new routes to Orlando, so overall it’s becoming easier for guests to get to Disney World. However, not everyone chooses to fly! You can of course go the traditional route of driving, or really throw it back by taking the train. As Fleetwood Mac said, “You can go your own way!”
