Stop Gambling on Your Hotel Room View in Disney World!
There are a variety of different views you can have from your hotel room in Disney World.
Some rooms look out onto the pool. Others will provide you with stunning views of the fireworks of certain parks. And others still look out onto…parking lots or sometimes nothing in particular. Not to mention some rooms might have fairly small windows, while others have large windows, giving you much more natural light. But, unless you pay extra for a particular view or pay for a pricier room, the view you get from your room will be a gamble. Want to get some pretty great views in Disney World no matter what room you’re placed in and skip the gambling step? Then there’s one hotel you’ll want to stay at.
The Walt Disney World Swan Reserve is a brand NEW hotel you might not have even heard about. Located next to the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resorts, the Swan Reserve is a short walk away from EPCOT and is walking distance to Disney’s Hollywood Studios too.
But, one of the things that might truly draw you to this hotel is the VIEWS. Every single room at the Swan Reserve features FLOOR-TO-CEILING windows. That’s right — no medium-sized window, no tiny window — floor-to-ceiling!
Many of the rooms will feature views of EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and the surrounding resort area. These could be especially fantastic to book considering the fact that EPCOT will soon have a new fireworks show you could watch straight from your room, and there are also fireworks currently offered at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Views of two fireworks from one hotel?! That’s our kind of place!
But, even if you don’t get a theme park view and are just looking down at the general resort area, at least you’ll be looking down at all of it from your floor-to-ceiling windows! There’s nothing quite like coming back to a hotel with a beautiful nighttime view or starting your morning with a cup of coffee as you look out of a large window.
The sheer size of the windows makes them a huge benefit for those who love to wake up to natural sunlight or just love the feeling of natural sunlight filling their space.
There are 149 suites in the Swan Reserve, so if you’ll be traveling with a family that could make this a good choice. There are also over 300 guest rooms and 2 presidential suites (if you want to get real fancy). Guests staying at the Swan Reserve also have access to 22 restaurants in the area, 6 pools, a private white sand beach, and more.
There will be a new Mediterranean restaurant, a grab-n-go cafe, a pool area with a fire pit, ballrooms, a business center, and even a wedding venue with stunning views of the fireworks.
Plus, if you stay at this resort you’ll be able to get access to Disney World’s Early Theme Park Entry offering, as well as Extended Evening Hours in the parks, when those special offerings begin in October. Guests at the Swan Reserve also have access to free transportation to the Disney parks.
Swan Reserve guests can also earn and redeem Marriott Bonvoy rewards points. So that’s access to lots of restaurants and pools, free transportation to the parks, the chance to spend more time in the parks in the morning and the afternoon, AND floor-to-ceiling windows all at one spot!
The Swan Reserve is currently set to open in October. Wondering what a stay at this resort will cost? Prices, of course, can vary. But here’s a look at some of the prices we saw when looking for a stay at the Swan Reserve in November.
You can see there is generally a difference in cost when it comes to traditional rooms versus those with a theme park view, but you’ll want to look for your vacation dates to see what the costs will be.
Ultimately, if you’re looking for a hotel where every room will guarantee you LARGE, floor-to-ceiling windows, which can provide you with some awesome views of the surrounding area and (for some rooms) Hollywood Studios or EPCOT — the Swan Reserve might be a spot to check out and consider for your future trips!
We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more news about the Swan Reserve and other hotels around Disney World. Stay tuned for more updates!
