Can I Park Hop to Multiple Disney World Parks? We Have the Answer!
We’ve been waiting a while for this day — Park Hopping is back!
Ever since it was announced that Park Hopping would be returning in a modified way, we’ve had a lot of questions. Will it be worth the cost? How will it impact our Disney trips? Will a dining reservation get us into a park? And now that we’ve had the chance to try the new system for ourselves, we’re ready to answer one of the questions that has been in the back of our minds: Can I hop to multiple parks in one day?
To start off, you CAN visit more than two parks each day — in fact, you can visit ALL FOUR. We’ve already visited Magic Kingdom, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom today. Here’s what you need to know!
Prepping to Park Hop
Even though we can now visit more than one park per day, guests will still be required to make a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first park that they choose to visit. You must visit this park first before you can hop to any others. If you’re running late and don’t want to visit the first park, you’ll have to cancel that Disney Park Pass reservation and book one for the park you’re heading to instead. This can be risky because availability for park passes changes, so plan ahead to make sure your party makes it to that first park!
It’s All Based on Availability
Before we get into the technicalities of how many parks you can visit in a day, just keep in mind that the modified Park Hopping system is all based on availability. Guests can only enter a second Disney World park if it isn’t already at capacity, so you’ll want to keep an eye on that availability. At this time, you can call the capacity number at (407) 560-5000 to find out which parks are available.
Our Experience
For our day, we started out at Magic Kingdom. We arrived early and enjoyed our morning experiencing all our favorite things that Disney World’s flagship park has to offer.
We left to head to our second park Disney’s Hollywood Studios right when Park Hopper became available at 2PM.
On our way into Disney’s Hollywood Studios, we noticed that not too many people were headed in right at 2PM.
