What Are the Crowds Like at Disney World Today?
With so much uncertainty in the world right now centered around the Coronavirus, you may be asking yourself, “I wonder what the crowds are like at Disney World?”

Well since we’re at the parks every day, we’ll take you around and show you how things are looking today at Disney World!
We’ve been keeping you up to date with how Disney is responding the Coronavirus pandemic, including Disney World recently placing several additional hand-washing stations throughout the parks as well as updating their My Disney Experience app to include a map and turn-by-turn directions to the nearest hand sanitizer location.

But right now, we want to take you around Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Epcot so you can see for yourself how Coronavirus may (or may not) be impacting the crowd levels at both of these parks. First, let’s start at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

Spring break is in full swing at Disney World this week with many families enjoying their Disney World vacations.

To us, these crowds appear to be pretty typical for an average day at Disney World this time of year, but we also know how crowded or not crowded a park “looks” or “feels” isn’t a reliable indicator for how many guests are actually here! That’s why to really understand how many people are here at Disney World today, we’re going to check the posted standby wait times!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Crowds Today
In Pandora: The World of Avatar you’ll find Flight of Passage — arguably Disney’s Animal Kingdom’s most popular ride. Standby wait times generally exceed 2 hours on the reg for this headliner. Today around noon, the posted Standby wait time for Flight of Passage was 135 minutes while Na’vi River Journey had a posted wait time of 105 minutes.

Kilimanjaro Safaris, another major attraction at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, posted standby wait time of 120 minutes around 12 PM today.

Meanwhile, in Dino Land U.S.A., Dinosaur showed a 60 minute wait time.

Expedition Everest had some operational delays in the early afternoon today, but when it came back online, the My Disney Experience app showed a posted standby wait time of 120 minutes.

All in all, these standby wait times seem to be on par with what we normally expect for this time of year and we have yet to see these numbers take a noticeable dip.
Epcot Crowds
Heading over to Epcot, we noticed Spaceship Earth had a 40-minute standby wait time around 12:30 PM. Since the ride will be closing soon to undergo what could be a lengthy and drastic refurb, we suspect a lot of folks are trying to get in one last ride before the classic attraction is refurbed.

Around the same time, The Seas with Nemo and Friends had a 20 minute standby wait time.

And a little closer to 1 PM, we saw the standby wait time for Soarin’ Around the World was 40 minutes which is about average for this time of day.

And at around 3:30 PM today, Frozen Ever After showed a standby wait time of 60 minutes in the My Disney Experience app.
