REVIEW! A DFB Favorite Cupcake Is Back in Disney World and With An All-New Look!
If you’ve been following DFB for a while, you may remember one of our favorite #onthelist cupcakes — the Cotton Top Tamarin Cupcake in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We loved this cupcake for its over-the-top decorations and rich chocolate flavors. You may also remember that the Cotton-Top Tamarin Cupcake mysteriously vanished from Animal Kingdom a while back.

Well, guess what, friends?! We’re SO excited to tell y’all that the Cotton-Top Tamarin Cupcake is BACK in Animal Kingdom!
We spotted this cupcake and Creature Comforts today and instantly noticed that Cotton-Top looks a little…different.

Gone is the chocolate lollipop decoration that WOWED us in years past! This isn’t the first time this cupcake has received a makeover, but this latest transformation is very noticeable.
Here’s what the OLD Cotton-Top Tamarin Cupcake looked like!
To us, this new version isn’t as cute as what it used to be, but that doesn’t mean he can’t still be delicious!

This new Cotton-Top Tamarin Cupcake is a chocolate cake with chocolate filling. It’s topped with a buttercream frosting.

…and there are chocolate pearls covering the back of the cupcake!

Cotton-Top’s face is printed on a piece of white chocolate. Clearly, this new version of the cupcake has much less white chocolate than it did when it was topped with a lollipop. Overall, however, this cupcake is still as tasty as it ever was! We appreciate the addition of the filling and the chocolate pearls because they add even more chocolate flavor and a bit of texture!

Not only are we glad to see that this cupcake is just as yummy as it was before, but we’re also happy to see these adorable animals being represented in the parks again!
