You Can’t Get Cotton Candy In Epcot’s China Pavilion Right Now — And Here’s WHY!

Epcot’s House of Good Fortune located in the China Pavilion is THE place to grab some of Disney World’s most delightful Cotton Candy creations!

5-Layered Spring Fantasy Cotton Candy

We’re talkin’ EPIC artisan Cotton Candy that takes on the shapes of various flowers, hearts, butterflies, and most recently, a Santa hat variation which we spotted during Epcot’s Festival of the Holidays!

But if you’re currently searching for a Cotton Candy work-of-art to call your very own at Epcot’s Festival of the Arts, you’re out of luck! You see, the Cotton Candy master, Wenbo Zhang, has stepped away from the House of Good Fortune to man a different medium during the festival. That’s right, folks! This guy is seriously multi-disciplined in the ways of ancient Chinese candy making!

Wenbo Zhang

During Epcot’s Festival of the Arts, Wenbo Zhang is creating Sugar Paintings at The Painted Panda food studio. He’s the SAME GUY who makes those crazy Cotton Candy sculptures which we just can’t seem to ever get enough of!

His assorted Sugar Paintings of animals cost $15 each while a Dragon Sugar Painting costs $22 because of its intricate details!

So, THAT’s why you can’t get your artisan Cotton Candy — for the time being! Wenbo Zhang is ONE BUSY DUDE, but we LOVE his WORK! Be sure to stop by The Painted Panda and check out the sugar work for yourself, and we’ll let you know when Wenbo Zhang returns to making his stunning Cotton Candy creations — which will most likely be sometime AFTER the Festival of the Arts! Stay tuned!
