What’s New in Disney’s Animal Kingdom — Menu Changes, a DELISH Cocktail, and MORE!

We’re steppin’ out in Animal Kingdom today to see what news the day brings!

Discovery Island

January can be a slower month around Disney World, so updates tend to be a little more few and far between. Animal Kingdom definitely doesn’t have TOO much in the way of new stuff going on, but they do have a new cocktail and isn’t that enough? For us, yes! Here’s everything new in Animal Kingdom in food, construction, and merchandise!

Animal Kingdom Food Updates

Discovery Island

First off, we saw a handful of menu updates around the park today. Over at Nomad Lounge, we noticed that the Wagyu Bowl was no longer on the menu. Sad day, because we certainly loved this tender, meaty meal! To make up for it though, the poutine has been updated to the Truffle Poutine, and we can always go for those super truffle-y flavors!

Oddly enough, Eight Spoon Cafe was closed yesterday, which isn’t the norm! While we weren’t expecting this closure, we suppose it can be hit or miss to see it open during slower times of the year. Either way, we’ll keep an eye on it for ya!

Now, let’s talk about that NEW COCKTAIL! The SnowTini debuted at Dawa Bar, and it’s super adorable! For $17, it’s a yummy blend of Snow Leopard Vodka, Blue Curaçao, Peach Schnapps, Pineapple Juice, Shredded Coconut, and a Glow Cube. This drink isn’t on the regular menu, and isn’t likely to be around forever, so make sure to give it a try while you can!

We spotted some new signage at Tusker House with an updated display board. All the information is the same, but now there are pictures where it used to just be words. How cute!

Animal Kingdom Merchandise Updates

Riverside Depot

There was one new-to-us piece of merch available at Riverside Depot. We’ve been loving the Rock the Dots collection that we’ve been spotting around the parks, and now we found this cute six-pack of Minnie bracelets for $9.99!

We had to see what they looked like on because we thought the shape might look a little odd, but we think it makes for a cute, kinda funky accessory!
