We’re One Poster in the Countdown Closer to Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway in Disney World!
March 4th feels so close and yet SO FAR AWAY!

And why does March 4th matter so much to us? Because it’s the opening day of Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway in Hollywood Studios (and the opening of Flower and Garden for you festival lovers)! We’ve still got about a month and a half to go in our wait, but Disney’s been making it a little easier on us with the release of a series of poster art counting down to the opening, and the third one in the series just appeared! So, while you’re biding your time until March, why not take a look?
The new poster is for the Mickey Mouse short “Split Decision” which features Donald in a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde-esque plotline. What happens when you separate the angry from Donald Duck? It’s a pretty scary question; one that Professor Von Drake decides to investigate. As all things go when mouse rules apply, antics ensue.

These posters will likely be in the queue area for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway as guests are “headed to the premiere of a new short.” Of course, you’ll actually be headed to the ride vehicle and be whisked away INTO the new short but that’s neither here nor there. The posters will decorate the lobby of the theatre and you’ll be able to spot these exclusive designs as you head towards the ride. Pretty neat!

We can’t wait until we’re actually standing in the Chinese Theatre again to ride along with Mickey and Minnie. In the meantime though, we’ll just have to stare at these pictures — and watch the Mickey shorts of course!
