Three Disney World Dining Experiences You’ve Probably Never Heard of Before!
We know better than anyone that there are a lot of ways to chow down at Disney World. A LOT.

Some of our favorite ways to eat at Disney come in the form of special Dining Events. We L-O-V-E the Fireworks Dessert Parties in Magic Kingdom, and we are here for the Dining Packages for events like Fantasmic! or festival shows like Disney on Broadway or Garden Rocks! Specially ticketed dining at Disney can be super amazing. But what about those really cool experiences most people tend to overlook? Check out these three Disney Dining Experiences you’ve (probably) never heard of before!
Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night
First up, you might not have heard of the relatively new dining experience in Animal Kingdom — Circle of Flavors: Harambe at Night. This experience is a three-hour family-friendly progressive dinner through the Harambe area of Animal Kingdom, and we had a BLAST when we went!
Circle of Flavors
The dinner includes three stops and each one has unique eats and entertainment. The coolest part? Circle of Flavors has a focus on conservation (much like everything else in Animal Kingdom!) and you’ll learn about the Big Five animals over the course of your night: leopards, Cape buffalo, African elephants, lions, and rhinoceroses.

The night starts at Harambe Train Station where you get to meet your fellow dinner-goers and Cast Members while listening to some authentic African tunes from a live musician. Of course, there are eats at every stop so you’ll start off with specialty beverages, appetizers, and hors d’oeuvres — all included in the price of your tour (even alcohol)!

Next, you’ll ride a train over to Rafiki’s Planet Watch where you can meet Rafiki and Timon and chow down on some more yummy small bites!

You’ll wrap up your evening back in the Harambe Market for the bulk of the good eats. There are several food stations themed around the Big Five animals so you can take your pick of what you want to try or try it all. There’s also music and storytelling to accompany your meal.

This is an awesome event for families or anyone who loves animals! The cuisine is also a great balance of familiar and adventurous with a ton of awesome flavors represented. We’d totally do this one again! If you haven’t heard about Circle of Flavors, you may want to put in on your radar for your next trip!
Leopard Station
This event runs Wednesday evenings from 6 PM to 9 PM in Animal Kingdom. And, BONUS! The dates for this event used to end in April, but you can now book all the way through May and June too! The cost is $125 for adults and $99 for kiddos aged 3-9 and Animal Kingdom tickets are required and not included.

Rose & Crown Pub & Dining Room Tea Experience
Over in Epcot, there’s another dining experience you may not have heard of before. Rose & Crown Pub offers a lot more than beer and British eats; you can also learn about the time-honored tradition of tea time with the Rose & Crown Tea Experience!

This experience is an awesome opportunity to learn about Twinings teas with the help of a Cast Member who is super knowledgeable about the different teas and their processes. Plus, you get to sample a bunch of different teas as well as some tea sandwiches and scones!

The first segment is a tasting of two teas with proper tea-brewing fully explained by a Twinings store Cast Member, then there’s the sandwich course with four sandwich samples before another two-tea course. Finally, you wrap up with scones. Of course, the whole experience is punctuated by fun facts about tea from your host.
Tea Experience at Rose & Crown Pub and Dining Room
This dining event is available on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 9:45 AM so it’s the perfect weekend breakfast. The whole experience takes about 45 minutes which is the perfect balance between not having to rush and not using up too much of your precious park time. Plus, it’s only $35 per person plus valid Epcot admission!

Highway in the Sky Dine Around
The final of our lesser-known dining experiences is definitely the biggest! We suspect many of you haven’t heard of the Highway in the Sky Dine Around that takes place at the Monorail Loop Resorts. Now, this one is definitely a little bit pricier than the others we’ve talked about but it also presents the most full experience.

This is another progressive dinner like Circle of Flavors, however, you’ll travel through all three Monorail resort hotels to dine and sight-see in a truly spectacular fashion! Starting at the Contemporary Resort, you’ll circle through the Polynesian Village Resort and Grand Floridian Resort over the course of the evening and you’ll finish off with a beautiful (and private!) fireworks view back at the Contemporary!

The evening starts at The Wave… of American Flavors in the Contemporary where you’ll get to indulge in some light appetizers and drinks in a privately reserved lounge.

Next up, you hop on to the Monorail for a quick zip over to Kona Cafe at the Polynesian Village Resort! Here, you’ll try out some heavier appetizers while sipping a tropical drink and looking at the island-inspired views. Bonus: you even get a lei to keep!
Table Setting
The main course is another Monorail ride away at Citricos, the snazzy signature restaurant in the Grand Floridian. The course here is a split main course and wine. After that, you’ll jaunt down to the Garden View Lounge for a cheese and charcuterie course with a glass of champagne.
Braised Short Rib and Florida Red Snapper
Dessert, however, is easily the best course with a private patio for fireworks viewing back at the Contemporary complete with a small dessert buffet, coffee, tea, and liqueurs for the adults. Wow!

Overall, it’s a fabulous experience that will run you $170 per person. That’s not too bad for a five-course meal with an exclusive touch and private fireworks view. You can book the Highway in the Sky Dine Around Monday through Thursday nights until the end of March.
