News! Jaleo at Disney Springs to Host A WINE Dinner!

You know we’re a sucker for those delicious croquetas de Pollo and the Jamon Iberico from celebrity chef Jose Andres Disney Springs outpost, Jaleo.

On December 10, the Spanish restaurant will host a five-course meal featuring award-winning wines and foods from Spain’s Rioja Baja region.

Headed by world-renowned chef José Andrés, Disney Springs’ Jaleo location offers some of Disney’s finest in Spanish cuisine, but the menu is about to become even more exciting for a special, one-night event, where guests will have the chance to sample unique wines straight from Spain.

Curvee Jose Sparkling Wine

Hailing from Spain’s Rioja Baja region, Raquél Pérez-Cuevas carries on her home’s grape-making tradition by running the family-operated, fifth-generation Otañon winery. Now, she plans to bring five of her award-winning family wines to Orlando for a wine dinner on Tuesday, December 10.

Running from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the five-course dinner will feature not only Rioja, Rueda, and Ribera del Duero wines from Otañon’s collection, but also top-class bites from Jaleo’s head chef Rodolfo L. Guzman Aranda.

Gambas al Ajillo

The menu selection includes traditional Spanish fare such as gambas al ajillo (garlic-sautéed shrimp), costillas de cordero con miel y romero(Josper-grilled lamb chops accompanied by honey aioli and rosemary sauce), and flan mama marisa (Spanish custard made from Catalan cream and oranges), among other options.
