PHOTO TOUR! First Look INSIDE Disney’s NEW Riviera Resort Rooms

Hello!! Today we’re getting a SNEAK PEEK at Disney’s Riviera Resort!

Riviera Resort

We cannot wait to try out some of the food from the location’s restaurants, take a peek into the rooms, and meet with some of the people that made this huge project possible.

Disney’s Riviera Resort First Look

The Resort will offer Deluxe Studios, One and Two-Bedroom Villas, Three-Bedroom Grand Villas, and a Tower Studio.

The tower studio is the first of its kind at Walt Disney World Resort. These rooms sleep up to two plus an infant and are located in the tower with the large RR logo on top. And get this! The rooms face directly towards the Italy Pavilion in Epcot.

Riviera Resort Construction

Riviera’s Exterior

Disney’s Riviera Resort is set to open on December 16, 2019. We have been tracking the resort’s construction progress along the way — you can check that out here!

The resort is rapidly nearing completion, with Cast Members still hard at work.

Here is what you can expect to see when this new resort opens in just a few months!

Amenities

Outside you will find a more quiet pool known as the Beau Soleil Pool. There will also be a family pool, which includes the S’il Vous Play area which was inspired by Disney’s Fantasia!

Take a closer look at Riviera’s pools here!

Disney’s newest mode of transportation, the Disney Skyliner Gondolas, will also be a feature of the Riviera Resort.

Riviera Resort Skyliner

The resort has it’s own walkway and entrance that is attached to the Caribbean Beach station.

We rode the Skyliner for the FIRST time yesterday! Check out our thought here!

Another cool thing about this resort is that depending on which side a guest’s room is facing, they may be able to see both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. But no matter the room, guests can head up to Topolino’s Terrace. Here, there will be views of Epcot and Hollywood Studios fireworks!

Riviera’s Interior

One-Bedroom Villa

The One-Bedroom Villa has separate sleeping areas to offer more comfort. The room can sleep up to five people and include 1 King bed, 1 Queen-size pull-down bed, and 1 single pull-down bed.

One-Bedroom Villa

One-Bedroom Villas also include a full kitchen with stainless steel Whirlpool appliances, a washer and dryer, a split bathroom with two sink areas, and a bubble jet bathtub.

One-Bedroom Villa Restroom

Let’s take a closer look at each of the sleeping arrangements!

There is a single pull-down bed beneath the television, which we’ve seen this in many other resorts across property.

One-Bedroom Villa Single Bed

As you can see, Mickey and Pluto are snoozing on the balcony high above a Mediterranean beach.

One-Bedroom Villa

This is just the beginning of the Riviera-inspired artwork you’ll see throughout the room and the resort. Now, the second bed in the living room area blew our minds a little bit since it literally comes down from the wall and rests on top of the living room’s sofa!

One-Bedroom Villa Queen Murphy Bed

It seems like a normal wall covered in stunning Disney artwork, but it’s SO MUCH MORE.

One-Bedroom Villa Queen Murphy Bed

Once you pull the bed down, you will have a nice Queen-size bed. Above it is even more stunning Disney artwork.

One-Bedroom Villa Queen Murphy Bed

And get this! Disney really thought about comfort, ease, and storage when creating these rooms. So, next to the bed you will find cubbies AND outlets. The outlets even include USB’s!

One-Bedroom Villa Queen Murphy Bed

Now, let’s check out the main bedroom, which includes a King-size bed.

One-Bedroom Villa

Though the living area features its own balcony, you will ALSO find one outside the main bedroom. This will give parents the freedom to relax on the patio after the little ones have gone to sleep!

One-Bedroom Villa

This room also has a chair and a small desk inside!

Here’s a look at the bedside desk area!

Now, let’s journey into the STUNNING bathroom area.

The restroom has that incredible jet soaking tub and a sink area.

Here’s a peek at the sink!

The colors and the marble make the area feel very relaxing and spa-like. And they, of course, have the H20+ products readily available for guests to enjoy.

One-Bedroom Villa

Next to the shower, guests will find a toilet area and a separate sink.

Here’s a look at the sink area!

Above the toilet, there are towels and another piece of artwork.

Now, let’s head out of the separate bedroom and into the living room area to take a look at the full kitchen!

One-Bedroom Villa

There is a seating area, a refrigerator, an oven, stove, sink, dishwasher, and a microwave!

One-Bedroom Villa

Guests will also have access to smaller amenities like a coffee pot and ice bucket.

One-Bedroom Villa

Guests will also have a full-sized Whirlpool refrigerator situated next to the seating area.

One-Bedroom Villa

Now, the seating area is pretty cool! Disney has added storage beneath the booth so guests will have a place to store child’s toys, smaller luggage, clothing, etc.

One-Bedroom Villa

And in the booth’s fabric, guests will find images of the Riviera. The detail really is everywhere inside of these rooms!

One-Bedroom Villa

Let’s also take a look at the washer and dryer location INSIDE the room!

Washer and Dryer

The two are stacked and attached!

And there are a few stunning pieces of decor, especially when it comes to lighting.

There are sconces in the living room…

…and unique lighting fixtures in the bedroom.

And y’all these new rooms are FILLED with intricate details that will take part in guests’ Riviera experience. From the details on the carpet, fabric, and artwork, a ton of work and thought went into creating this one-of-a-kind resort experience.

You’ll find Mickey’s and Minnie’s on the curtains, carpet, and balcony.

One-Bedroom Villas

Here’s a look at what we can expect the views from the balconies to look like!

One-Bedroom Villa

Now, let’s journey into a Deluxe Studio. Fun fact! These rooms can be combined as one unit if desired, thus turning it into a Two-Bedroom Villa!

Deluxe Studio

The Deluxe Studio can also sleep up to five. It includes a Queen-size bed, a pull-down Queen-size bed, and a single pull-down bed.

Deluxe Studio

The studio also has a kitchenette and a private patio or balcony!

Deluxe Studio

Much like the One-Bedroom Villa, a pull-out bed will be found beneath the TV.

Deluxe Studio

It also will have plugs so guests can charge their phone right from their bed.

Deluxe Studio

The other Queen size pull-out will be positioned behind the couch and will come down from the wall.

Deluxe Studio

Still blows my mind that the couch is able to fold, allowing the bed to rest on top of it.

Deluxe Studio

The room also has a standard Queen-size bed.

Deluxe Studio

The room also features a set of nightstands.

Deluxe Studios

Disney wanted there to be a good amount of storage in the Deluxe Studio as well. Therefore, you’ll find a good bit of space beneath the bed.

Deluxe Studio

The room also has a small seating area!

Deluxe Studio

Let’s head into the restroom. Here, you will find a shower and tub combo, a single sink, and the toilet.

Deluxe Studio

Now, let’s check out the kitchenette area! Here, guests will find a microwave, mini-fridge, coffee maker, and sink!

Deluxe Studio

It also has the fun blue backsplash seen in the One-Bedroom Villa.

Deluxe Studio

Disney will also provide hand dish soap, towels, a sponge…

…a toaster…

…and an ice bucket!

Deluxe Studio

You can also find incredible Disney and Riviera-inspired artwork in this room. Here’s just a peek at some of the stunning pieces.

Deluxe Studio

You may be able to spot Lightning McQueen on the one that is placed on the wall of the murphy bed!

Deluxe Studio

And the details continue into the fabrics. In this room, there are more nods to the Riviera Resort. You can spot a double R in the curtains!

Deluxe Studio

I’m also digging the lighting features in this room as well! I mean, I’m a sucker for gold, but would ya just look at ’em. So classy!

Deluxe Studios

Disney’s Riviera Resort will also feature five new dining locations! We had the opportunity to try some of the menu items today!
