REVIEW! New Bubble, Apple, Toil, and Trouble Cupcake in Disney World
It may be August, but it’s officially spooky season around Walt Disney World Resort!!
And you know what that means…monstrously eerie cupcakes just like the Bubble, Apple, Toil, and Trouble Cupcake we found at Disney’s Pop Century Resort.
This is a yellow cake made with a caramel apple (!!) filling complete with green apples. It’s topped with vanilla buttercream, candied eyes, a sugar bone, sprinkles, and a gummy worm.
The toppings are totally weird but we’re super into it. I mean it’s Halloween and this really makes us think of some sort of spooky and fun witch’s brew.
For starters, the filling was BOMB because the apples still had a crunch to them. And since they’re green apples, they were tart, which made them even better in our opinion!
We didn’t really taste any sort of flavor in the buttercream. And it, like the Amuck Cupcake from Magic Kingdom, left us with black teeth thanks to the color of the buttercream. So, bring a toothbrush if you plan to eat this one!!
We enjoyed the cupcake’s toppings and fillings, but other than that this cupcake just fell flat.
We think it’s a ton of fun for the kiddos, though! You can find it at Everything POP Food Court for $5.49 or a snack credit if you’re on the Disney Dining Plan.
