Could This Construction Be The Potential Walkway to Magic Kingdom From Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort?

For years, guests have dreamed of a walkway that could connect the Grand Floridian Resort and Magic Kingdom.

A few weeks ago, we shared information about a permit that just might be setting the groundwork for that dream to become a reality.

Though we weren’t sure if Disney was going to move forward with the process — or if anything would truly come out of the filing of the permit — we spotted something that gives us a little bit of hope this week. When visiting The Grand Floridian, we noticed a bit of construction taking place. Note that Disney has not announced the walkway officially, so this could just be random construction happening over there…in the general vicinity of where an…um…walkway would be… .

We’re excited to see what this project turns out to be! You know what we’re hoping for, but then again ya never know with Disney.
