Star Wars Donuts and Darth Vader Cupcake Launch at Disneyland’s Grand Californian Hotel!

We have some new out-of-this-galaxy treats to tell you about in Disneyland Resort! White Water Snacks at Disneyland’s Grand Californian Hotel has introduced Star Wars Donuts AND a Darth Vader Cupcake!

Star Wars Donut

The Star Wars donuts are vanilla cake donuts with “berry swirl” frosting, some completely awesome iridescent chocolate rocks, and white chocolate pieces shaped like R2-D2 or an X-wing Starfighter.

The texture of the donuts is nice and moist, just as we’ve come to expect from previously released donuts at White Water Snacks, and the berry frosting was not too strong.

The chocolate rocks were a unique treat both on the side and with each bite. And the solid white chocolate pieces were super detailed and tasted okay!

The Darth Vader Cupcake is chocolate cake with an airy chocolate mousse style of icing.

The cupcake is topped with a milk chocolate piece shaped like Darth Vader’s mask. Chocolate sprinkles adorn the icing, while red and blue chocolate pieces behind Darth Vader’s head represent lightsabers.

The chocolate mousse was definitely the best part and the sprinkles were a great addition as well. Thankfully, the cake was not too dry!

Coinciding with the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, these bakery items became available at White Water Snacks on Friday, May 31. The donuts are $5.50 each before the Annual Pass discount and the cupcake is $7.00 before the AP discount.

Overall, we think these treats are enjoyable additions to the bakery case at White Water Snacks, and nicely commemorate the opening of Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge!
