Epcot Entrance Transformation Continues With Removal of Leave A Legacy Now in Progress
Epcot is currently undergoing an enormous transformation.
The park-wide changes range from upcoming dining experiences like the space-themed restaurant and Takumi-Tei both coming this year to new attractions like the highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy ride and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure to new nighttime spectaculars and more.
In fact, lots of changes are coming to the very front of the park, as even the Epcot entrance is being transformed.
The entrance changes started with an overhaul of the parking lot tram pickup and drop-off area which is currently in progress. And as of today, the work behind the transformation is immediately seen upon entering the park itself.
As Disney previously announced, the Leave A Legacy photos which have welcomed guests into the park are being moved to a new setting just outside the park’s gateway to make way for new pathways, green spaces and a newly reimagined fountain as part of the guest entry experience.
And the removal of the Leave A Legacy photos has begun in earnest, as walls are now placed around the photos on the right as you enter the park.
Leave A Legacy photos can still be seen on the left as you enter… for now.
It’s all to usher in a reimagined Epcot. What do you think so far?
