We’ve got another What’s New at Disney’s Hollywood Studios for you this week, and it involves construction! We bet you’re surprised to hear that, aren’t you?

We’re almost into 2019, which is going to be a BIG year for Hollywood Studios! This week, there are Skyliner updates, menu changes, and even merchandise for the new year.
What’s New in the Parking Lot of Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Notice anything different? That’s right — the bulk of the construction walls in the parking lot have come down to reveal this spacious walkway. Nice!

Not only are there benches and plenty of room to move around, but you can get a really good view of the Skyliner.

There’s a new bus directory…

…though the main bus stop is still under construction.

We found new restrooms and soda machines, too! (But we might be a little sad these aren’t the Coke machines from the old bus loop.)

What’s New at the Entrance of Disney’s Hollywood Studios
Then, we saw Pocahontas and Meeko meeting guests at the park entrance! Pocahontas and Meeko don’t always meet here, but if you keep your eyes open, you might just occasionally encounter some rare characters near the park’s entrance during the daytime.

What’s New on Sunset Boulevard

ABC Commissary added a little last-minute holiday cheer: festive palm tree decorations.

Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano got a few menu updates, too! There’s a new house-made meatball appetizer and a new seasonal Italian salad appetizer. The mixed greens salad appetizer, however, has been removed.
