NEWS: Disney Announces NEW Animated Movie Coming in 2028

Disney has made LOTS of announcements about upcoming movies and TV shows at the Disney Entertainment panel at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. From a new trailer for Avengers: Doomsday to the official announcement of Zootopia 3, we have been getting more and more excited about everything that is coming soon.

To add to the list of announcements, Disney just announced a brand-new animated movie coming to theaters in November 2028 called Clay. 

Now, we know that’s quite a bit from now, but that doesn’t mean we can’t start to get excited about a new movie! Disney’s Clay will feature characters named Clay and Mooshy and will star Kieran Culkin. Jared Bush shared a piece of concept art from the movie, and we are loving all the bright colors.

We can’t wait to learn more about this movie and see upcoming trailers. The Entertainment Panel was full of announcements. Disney shared a new look at Frozen 3, including new concept art, some hints at the plot, and a peek at one of the film’s new songs!

We also learned about the new Star Wars: Starfighter film and got a peek at a trailer for season 2 of Ahsoka.

As well, Disney also announced two new celebrities for its upcoming movie, Hexed. Walter Goggins and Jodie Foster will be joining the cast as well!
