I Had No Idea These 5 Hilton Honors Perks Existed

Hilton has been one of the world’s most popular hospitality brands since it was founded over 100 years ago. Currently, the company’s portfolio includes over 7,500 properties (including timeshare properties) with 1,182,937 rooms in 118 countries and territories.

Like many major brands of its ilk, Hilton has a rewards program for members: Hilton Honors. According to the chain, members “receive exclusive perks at our hotels around the world – from luxury resorts to boutique stays and everything in between” and can earn points on their stays and turn them into free nights, travel with our exclusive partners, and so much more.”

Spanning across 5 tiers, Hilton’s program offers a slew of perks, including some we never saw coming.

Member Tier

Let’s begin with the free Member Tier, which anyone can join. The highlight here in our mind is the Choose Your Room perk, which allows guests to choose from available rooms in their reserved hotel up to 24 hours in advance.

According to Hilton, members “receive a Daily Food & Beverage Credit at select brands in the U.S., and Motto by Hilton globally, and complimentary Continental Breakfast at select brands outside the U.S. (excluding Motto by Hilton).
