A Big Change Is Set To Hit Magic Kingdom In 7 Days
Are you ready for CHRISTMAS CHEER?! We are super close to the festive holiday, and Disney World is going all out.
Mickey in the Christmas parade at Magic Kingdom
There are two after-hours holiday parties, so many limited-time snacks, and (starting very soon) major entertainment changes in Magic Kingdom! A rare parade is kicking off in Magic Kingdom next week, and if you’re there, you can’t miss it.
It’s almost time for Christmas! Can you hear us squealing? Some of the best parts of the holiday are how Disney transforms for the season in tons of ways. One of those ways is with a rare Christmas parade! Typically, you can only see the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade at night if you buy a ticket to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Olaf in the Christmas Parade!
Starting on December 22nd, no extra ticket is needed! The rare Christmas parade will be available to all Magic Kingdom guests twice a day. The parade will run (in the daylight!!) at 12 PM and 3 PM for all of your holiday delights.
Elsa in the parade!
This hugely popular parade will be replacing the Festival of Fantasy Parade until December 31st. You can still watch the new Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away at 7 PM and 9:45 PM on the same nights. On December 30th and 31st, Disney Starlight will be running at 6:30 PM and 9 PM. We love that Disney offers this special festive entertainment a few days before and after Christmas Day, so you don’t have to buy an after-hours ticket to experience it.
Vanellope!
We will warn you before it starts. This parade is seriously popular, meaning it will be BUSY! This time of year is typically busy for the parks, especially Magic Kingdom. Main Street, U.S.A. usually fills up first, but the parade kicks off in Frontierland, which tends to be quieter until closer to the start time.
The parade at Mickey’s Very Merry!
Even our quieter spots in Frontierland are probably going to be backed up, so if seeing the full parade with a good spot is a priority for you, you’ll want to get there well before 12 PM, and get ready to wait in your spot for an hour or longer. It sounds like a lot, but if you’re a parade lover, it can be a great time to have a picnic lunch. Guests tend to love a limited-time offering, especially since this one is normally behind a pay wall!
Goofy in the parade!
We can’t wait to see this parade in the sunshine! Be sure to keep following DisneyFoodBlog for more Disney news, updates, and more.
