Let’s begin with one of the most important items to pack for a park day: A portable smartphone charger. Let’s face it, in recent years, having a charged smartphone has become integral to a Disney World trip, thanks to things like Lightning Lanes and mobile ordering being centered in the My Disney Experience app. In turn, having a portable charger to keep your phone juiced is also essential.
This INIU one is one of our favorites. For starters, it’s definitely worth the price, usually clocking in at around $20 or less. That’s a pretty good deal, especially since the charger offers both USB-A and USB-C ports, giving a wide variety of charging options for everything from phones to watches to cameras to headphones, to pretty much everything else you can imagine.

In addition, it’s an improvement over previous models we’ve used, thanks to a small and compact design, all while being capable of holding a longer charge than the original model we tried. Also, the previous model we used took me almost all night to completely charge, and this one charges fully in a matter of a few hours or less.
The item is more reliable and durable than many others we’ve tried, from Disney’s proprietary FuelRods to respected brands like Anker. It even doubles as a small flashlight. If you double-tap the power button, you can toggle that small light off and off.
If there were one thing we’d change, we wish the brick came with its own proprietary charging cable as opposed to us using one of our own and hoping it’s the correct wattage. However, that’s a minor nitpick when it comes to an essential 5-star product.

We’re going to come right out and admit, there was a time when we were a bit skeptical of white noise machines. However, this machine totally changed our viewpoint. Truth be told, members of our team were always annoyed at the idea of a sound machine because white noise and big fans sounded aggressive to them. However, with the adjustable volume and sounds, they didn’t have to worry about that and could set it to what they’d like to listen to at a comfortable volume.
On top of that, this thing is so small it can fit in the palm of your hand, so it doesn’t take up much space on a night table. It has the potential to be hooked up to a charger or be enjoyed on a battery, and features 35 different volume levels for such a tiny object, comes is a variety of different colors to match practically any aesthetic, and 16 different sounds ranging from DIFFERENT kinds of fans and fan speeds, to standard white noise, soundscapes, waterfalls, rain, birds, lullabies, and beyond.

Even our team members’ kids enjoyed it! Conveniently, it uses the same USB-C charger that most newer phone models have switched to using, so you don’t have to keep up with an odd charging plug.

The material allowed the rain to slip right off, and between that and the lack of sleeves, we didn’t feel steamed or hot underneath. On top of that, the pinch was large enough that our backpack was able to fit underneath it comfortably, while still keeping the bag and our backs completely covered from the rain
