FULL TOUR of the NEW Hotel Rooms at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside

If you love all things New Orleans, The Princess and the Frog, and Mickey beignets, then you might have a stay at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort on your list for your next Disney World trip.

The room

Now, you have two choices at Port Orleans, including the French Quarter, which is designed to remind you of New Orleans. But there’s also the more relaxed Riverside part of the resort, where you’ll feel like you’re living in the bayou. We just recently stayed in Port Orleans — Riverside in Alligator Bayou, and we’re giving you a full room tour so you can see if this might be the room for you!

Alligator Bayou features rooms themed around The Princess and the Frog. We stayed in a standard room with two queen-sized beds.

The room

The beds have a green padded headboard and loads of pillows.

There’s a table between the beds.

The table between the beds is where you’ll find the phone.

There are also outlets where you can plug in your devices.

On the other side of the table is the Hey Disney Voice Assistant device.

Be sure to look for these cute little details around the room.

Across from the beds is a bureau with a fun riverboat box kinda’ theme. It also doubles as a bench with drawers at the bottom.

Beside that is a table with two chairs. Above the table is a mirror.

There’s a table opposite one bed.

You’ll find a coffee maker on that table.

You’ll get an assortment of teas and coffees, along with creamers and other condiments.

On the other side of this table, you’ll find an ice bucket and cups.

You’ll also find some cute details on that table, as well as more spaces for your things.

So pretty

Behind that pretty door is the mini fridge.

Above this table are some hooks for hanging things like hats, scarves, maybe even ears. It also has a little shelf.

You’ll find the thermostat nearby.

The room curtain covering the window has a rustic bayou look to it.

The air conditioner/heater is below the curtains. The wooden details really fit well into the room.

Be sure to take in the pretty artwork on the wall closest to the bathroom.

Inside the closet are hangers, an ironing board, and an iron.

At the top of the closet is an extra pillow and blanket.

This is also where you’ll find the room safe.

The bathroom is separated by a curtain that has Tiana and Prince Naveen in their frog forms looking over the bayou.

The first section of the bathroom features a vanity with a mirror, as well as a magnifying mirror.

You’ll find those awesome Disney amenities on the counter.

Beneath the sink is a charming Washboard, with shelves and drawers to keep your things. You’ll find toilet paper and extra towels here, too.

There’s a full-length mirror on the door leading to the tub and toilet area, which is separate.

Beyond that door, you’ll find the tub and toilet.

These rooms also have a bathtub in case you need a long soak after a day in the parks.

Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner are in dispensers attached to the wall.

You’ll find towels and wash clothes right next to the tub.
