A NEW Addition Just Arrived at EPCOT, and We’re LOVING It!
EPCOT made a new addition to the park, and we’re kinda obsessed. Maybe we’ve all officially become Disney Adults but this small change is making us pretty excited to rope drop.

This new addition to the popular park is a unique one. You can’t see it, but you can HEAR it. Trust us when we say this new thing may hit you on a deeper level!
EPCOT has a brand-new “welcome announcement” featuring Walt Disney’s voice! That’s right, your day at EPCOT will now start by listening to a clip of Walt Disney talking about his original vision for EPCOT, or rather, the Experimental Prototype City Of Tomorrow.

His voice plays across the entire park as the park opens. He says, “The heart of everything we’ll be doing in Disney World will be our Experimental Prototype City of Tomorrow. We call it EPCOT.”

The message was a special surprise that debuted on the first day of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays on Friday, November 28. It was a beautiful surprise to kick off the holiday season at the park.
The Festival of the Holidays has arrived!
In the same message, Walt’s voice is followed by an announcer, who says, “Walt Disney believed that imagination would lead humanity to achieve the impossible. EPCOT was built on that dream — a celebration of our world and its promise. Today, we invite you to share in that celebration and hope that you, too, will be inspired by the magic of possibility. For your safety, please walk to your destination. Thank you, and enjoy the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays.” That makes us think that if this is a permanent addition, they may update the announcement to name different festivals, or change it to a simple welcome once the festival is over. We can’t believe the Festival of the Holidays is already here. There are so many special things to eat and drink, so much entertainment to see, and so many cookies to scarf down! We’ve already got to check out the festival, and you know we’ll be there a LOT more this holiday season.
