We’re Expecting BIG Theme Park News In November

Everyone, start gearing up for some big theme park news!

When it comes to Disney news, we tend to think of Destination D23 and D23 Expo. These ultimate Disney fan events come with news, behind-the-scenes looks, and more! Those conventions aren’t the only ones where you can expect big theme park news, though. Right now, we’re getting ready for another big theme park event with even more news coming next month! 

If you’re a theme park nerd like we are, you have come to the right place! It’s almost time for the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Expo. You might not know the name of this big event, but we would bet you’ve heard the news from it each year!

The IAAPA Expo is the main international trade show for the attractions and theme park industry! This means that different companies like Disney, Universal, Dollywood, and more use this event to share updates on big projects, share major news, and give insights into their industry. It’s also a location for professionals in the industry to connect, share ideas, and demonstrate their products and services.

This year, the Expo will feature a conference, a trade show, education, and a show floor throughout the week. The conference and the education portion of the show will kick off on November 17th and go through November 20th. The trade show and the show floor will be from November 18th through November 21st.

At previous expos, big updates like new coasters and even details on EPCOT’s major transformation have been revealed. This annual event is a big one to look forward to, especially if you’re someone who loves peeling back the curtain on all things theme park.

There will be over 170 educational events throughout the week, and over 1,100 show floors exhibitors! That’s a lot of new and exciting information for anyone who is interested in this field. Anyone can become an IAAPA Member, but you can also just purchase a ticket to the expo if you’re interested. Ticket prices and information can be found here.
