While the busy Holiday season is just around the corner, November 2025 might not be the best time to visit Walt Disney World.

It’s no secret that the end of the year is one of the busiest possible times to visit Walt Disney World thanks to Holiday events like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, Jollywood Nights, and the Festival of the Holidays. However, those crowds will be exacerbated this year thanks to the many construction projects currently happening across the resort. 

 

Let’s dive right into the things you can expect when you come to Disney World in November 2025.

HOLIDAY EVENTS

Magic Kingdom

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party begins on November 9th and takes place on select nights in the Magic Kingdom until December 21st.

Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade

Of course there is the ever-iconic Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks, and all the exclusive party merch and treats. It’s hard to fit the party festivities into just one night!

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney Jollywood Nights

Disney’s Hollywood Studios Holiday event Disney Jollywood Nights  is returning for its third year. The separately ticketed event is scheduled for select nights beginning on November 8th, and running through December 22nd. 

Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!

Despite a rocky first year, this event was much more warmly received in 2024, with the  Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! nighttime spectacular being a particular highlight.  In addition, there exclusive treats, exclusive entertainment, rare characters, and more!

Sadness

And there are two limited-capacity entertainment experiences happening during the event: The Hollywood Brown Derby will transform into a speakeasy-inspired jazz lounge, and The Hollywood Tower Hotel Courtyard will host an “other-worldly soiree” with a ghostly band!

EPCOT

International Festival of the Holidays

The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is a global celebration of the Season! In 2023, it will begin on November 28th (the day after Thanksgiving) and run through December 30th.

During the Festival, guests enjoy enhanced offerings around the World Showcase and experience holiday traditions from various cultures as expressed through decorations, stories, music, cuisine, and additional special events.

Norway Storytellers

EPCOT features internationally-themed food booths called Holiday Kitchens! Look for the ramped-up food offerings at booths like American Holiday Table, Las Posadas, and Chestnuts & Good Cheer Holiday Kitchen Many counter-service restaurants (and even some table service locations) feature additional holiday treats, too.

CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

Magic Kingdom

As mentioned above, the typical crowd-levels that come with these Holiday events will also run headlong into construction projects around the resort. At the Magic Kingdom, work on the former Rivers of America…

…as well as the land “beyond Big Thunder Mountain”…

… are currently shrouded in construction as they’re transformed into Piston Peak…

Holywood Studios

Over at Hollywood Studios, the former Grand Avenue/Muppet Courtyard area…

…is currently being turned into Monstropolis as part of the upcoming Monsters, Inc. Land…

… and the former Star Wars: Launch Bay is being transformed…

…into a new take on the Magic of Disney Animation.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, Disney World’s premier Deluxe Resort, is also undergoing construction  that will unfortunately mean one of Disney World’s beloved Holiday traditions won’t be present this year. 

Grand Floridian lobby changes

Currently the hotel’s lobby is being renovated, included the addition of a new lobby bar. However, due to this work, there will be no gingerbread house in the Grand Floridian’s lobby in 2025.
