Disney Reveals FIRST LOOK at Signs for Beak and Barrel at Magic Kingdom
Ahoy there, pirates! Have you fought the mighty crowds to get your Beak and Barrel reservation and are now willing to walk the plank to get inside? We have an update for you that will make you as happy as finding buried treasure.
Okay, let’s drop the pirate speak. Disney just showed us new pictures of what to expect at Beak and Barrel, the new pirate-themed lounge coming to Magic Kingdom on August 29th, so let’s jump in!
Sound the alarms: we have signage! This large map appears to be located outside in Adventureland and features Rummy, the parrot who oversees the tavern, on it.
They added another sign, too! This one is filled with details with the wood planks, knotted rope, and sea barnacles that look like they pulled it straight out of the ocean.
The new restaurant has caused quite a bit of chaos with reservations, so if you’re looking to book, don’t be concerned that you don’t see any available. Reservations open 60 days in advance, and while we’re just as excited to check out Beak and Barrel, this is a permanent location and is expected to be around for a while.
One part that makes us at Disney Food Blog so excited is the menu! There are some food options like Cook’s Corn Griddle Cakes and Kraken’s Catch, which is octopus tentacles marinated in lemon and lime juice with olives, bell peppers, avocado, and a piquillo pepper-almond foam.
Let’s not forget about the drinks! From the Siren’s Whisper made with Pot & Column Still White Rum Blend, Bols Blue Curaçao Liqueur, Combier Crème de Pêche de Vigne Liqueur, Lime, and Cinnamon to Barrels Ablaze with Jack Daniel’s Bonded Bourbon, Honey, Lemon, and Chile, we’re ready to try them all.
We love a good souvenir mug, too!
In the meantime, make sure you keep following Disney Food Blog for more Disney news and reviews.
