Virtual Queue REMOVED From the Newest Disney Attraction

Whether you love ’em or hate ’em, another Disney Virtual Queue has been removed! A brand-new Disneyland show made its debut with a Virtual Queue, but now the Virtual Queue is no more.

Walt Disney: A Magical Life

“Walt Disney – A Magical Life” made its debut at Disneyland Park on July 17th, 2025. When it opened, it was utilizing a Virtual Queue to help manage demand for the new show. However, you can now see the brand-new show WITHOUT needing to grab a Virtual Queue spot!

As of right now — things are always subject to change, though — you can head to the Main Street Opera House and hop in the standby line to see the show. No more pre-planning to join the Virtual Queue and eagerly awaiting when your boarding group will be called. Now you can watch the show whenever you want during your day. Always make sure to check the Disneyland app for the most up-to-date information about Virtual Queues. 

Walt Disney — A Magical Life

This new show tells the story of Walt Disney’s life through remastered footage and audio recordings. The show also features the first-ever audio-animatronic of Walt Disney himself. Currently, “Walt Disney – A Magical Life” is the only show playing in the Main Street Opera House, but eventually it will be shown in rotation with “Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.”

Currently, the only experience at Disneyland Resort with a Virtual Queue available is World of Color: Happiness! Guests can head to the Disneyland app at 12 PM to join the Virtual Queue for the show. It is not required to join the Virtual Queue to watch World of Color: Happiness! but it is highly recommended. There are additional viewing areas for the show, but the Virtual Queue will allow you to enter your designated reserved viewing area.
