We stayed in one of the most low-key bougie hotel rooms at Disney World: the Tower – Deluxe Suite – Club Access at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. That’s right, Coronado Springs. Not the Grand Floridian. Not the Polynesian. And still? This suite is giving luxury. We’re talking two bathrooms, a private lounge with all-you-can-eat food and drinks, and access to rooftop dining — all without leaving the building. Let’s talk about what it’s like to stay in a room Disney experts low-key try to gatekeep — and whether that price tag is actually worth it.

Let’s Talk About This Tower

First off, this suite is inside the Gran Destino Tower — the newest and most stunning part of Coronado Springs. The tower is sleek, modern, and feels way more “deluxe” than “moderate,” which is technically what this resort is classified as. The theming leans Spanish-modern with artsy details and gorgeous lighting. Walking into the lobby feels like you’re stepping into a luxury hotel in Barcelona.

And here’s the kicker: You’re just an elevator ride away from rooftop restaurants like Toledo — Tapas, Steak & Seafood and the Dalia Lounge. You also have super-easy access to Three Bridges Bar & Grill (a fan favorite), Rex Sports Bar & Grill, and Maya Grill. We’re not saying you’ll become a tapas person overnight, but also… you kind of might.

Our room — the Club Access Deluxe Suite — was genuinely bigger than some apartments we’ve lived in.

The decor is clean and modern, but still warm. You’re not getting over-the-top theming like you might in other Disney hotels, but honestly? We were more than fine with that. Everything just feels nice — and that’s not something we say lightly.

The Club Level Perks: Chronos Club Is Where It’s At

This is what really sets this room apart. If you’ve never done a Club Level room at Disney World, here’s the deal: it gets you into a private lounge with complimentary food and drinks pretty much all day. At the Gran Destino Tower, that lounge is called the Chronos Club — and it might be the best value you’re not thinking about.

From 6:30 AM to 10:00 PM, they’ve got food rotating throughout the day. We’re talking breakfast, snacks, light bites, desserts, beer, wine, soft drinks, and coffee.

It’s not just granola bars and sad mini muffins. We ate breakfast and light dinner here multiple times and genuinely felt full and satisfied. That alone saved us serious money — not to mention the time we didn’t spend trying to mobile order a mediocre burger in the parks.

There’s also a concierge team in the lounge who can help with ticket questions, dining reservations, and making your entire trip feel smoother. They’re real humans (not just a phone line!) and they know their stuff.

Can You Just… Skip the Parks?

Honestly, you could. With all the food, the lounges, the rooftop views, and the general vibe of the tower — it’s one of the few places in Disney World where you could check in and not leave the building for your entire stay.

We’re not saying skip the parks every time. But if you’re doing a chill trip, or you’re trying to plan a rest day between park days, this is the kind of room that makes staying in feel like an experience, not just downtime.

So… Is It Worth $730?

Let’s be real — that’s a lot of money for one night at Disney World. But here’s how we break it down.

When you stay in a regular room and eat all your meals in the parks or quick service spots, you’re probably spending more than you think. A couple of solid meals, drinks, snacks, and coffee runs can easily hit $150–$200 per day per person. Add in the time saved from not needing to fight crowds for breakfast or mobile order lunch? That starts to feel like value.

Now layer on the upgraded room, the two bathrooms, the private lounge, the access to some of the best food on property, and the overall feeling of luxury — and yeah, for the right kind of trip, it can absolutely be worth it.

We’re not saying this is how you should always do Disney. But if you’ve got a special occasion, or you just want to splurge on something that feels next-level, this suite delivers.

Experts might try to gatekeep this place because it’s still flying under the radar — and we kind of get why. Once people realize you can get this much value without staying at a monorail resort, it’s going to be a lot harder to book.
