REVIEW: Is It Possible To Fall in Love with a Disney Snack? Asking for a Friend.

Disneyland guests have been spoiled with a litany of great new food options lately, from the seasonal specialties during the park’s Lunar New Year celebrations to a new Peanut Butter Flavored Mickey Waffle treat to a Snack-sized Mardi Gras Monte Cristo to Nutella-Stuffed Mickey Waffles!

The Price

On our most recent trip to the resort, we sampled another new offering: The Peanut Butter Raspberry Chocolate Square.

Available for $7.29 from Trolley Treats in California Adventure, this snack is a Valentine’s Day season replacement for the Chocolate Peanut Butter Square. So, is it a worthy (temporary) successor? This is what we thought…

We. LOVED. This.

Yuuuuuum

When we first heard about the Peanut Butter Raspberry Chocolate Square, we feared the mix of flavors may not work well, and possibly taste a bit artificial. However, our fears were unfounded. The peanut butter paired with the fresh raspberry gave us peanut butter and jelly vibes.

The raspberry flavor tasted fresh, and vibrant, and mixed well with a light chocolate flavor. Then there’s the peanut butter filling, which had a light texture but offered a rich and creamy peanut flavor, while the peanuts inside added a nice little crunch.

Those peanuts added a crunch

As mentioned above, the treat is available at Trolley Treats on Buena Vista Street. The shop tempts guests’ taste buds with “classic candies, old-fashioned confections, and all kinds of freshly made treats—from toffee and fudge to caramel apples and other seasonal favorites.”

Try them ASAP!

We sampled the new Peanut Butter Raspberry Chocolate Square at California Adventure’s Trolley Treats, and LOVED IT! Stay tuned to DFB for more Disney treat reviews!
