The holidays are quickly approaching Disney World and we’ve got some HUGE news to share!

We’ve got an exciting update to share about one of the most popular experiences happening during EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays! While we already were beaming with excitement from learning who we could expect to narrate during this year’s lineup, we knew we still had a little bit to wait before we could book those super popular dining packages. But now, that day is finally HERE!

All I Want For Christmas Ugly Sweater

Disney World has just opened up one of the most popular dining offerings of the entire year. It’s become a decades long tradition when visiting EPCOT during the holiday season, to stop by and see the immensely popular Candlelight Processional.

Candlelight Processional

This offering is included with your park admission for the day and performs multiple showtimes each night with a full chorus made up of local choirs, Cast Members, and the Voices of Liberty. They’re joined by a live orchestra and the story of Jesus’ birth is narrated by celebrities including John Stamos, Neil Patrick Harris, Chrissy Metz, and more.

Since its popularity has grown over the years (especially depending on which celebrity narrator you’re hoping to see), you may have found it increasingly hard to get a seat inside the American Gardens Theater even with waiting several hours ahead of your chosen performance time. One of the solutions to help alleviate this problem is to opt to purchase a Candlelight Processional dining package.

Choose Showtime First, then Participating Restaurant Times will populate

These dining packages offer you the opportunity to dine at one of several EPCOT restaurants which will include preferred seating for one of the 3 showtimes held that evening. When you go to book your reservation, you’ll want to choose your showtime first, and then select from the available restaurant options to dine in. Once you’re done with your meal, your server will also give you instructions on where to meet at the theater for the dining package line and preferred seating areas along with a ticket outlining your performance time.

As of today, you’re now able to book these dining packages online through Disney World’s website and My Disney Experience app! These could be a great time saver when it comes to getting a chance to sit and see your preferred show while also having an opportunity to stop for a filling meal beforehand. These packages typically don’t last long so if you’ve been thinking about snagging one, we’d recommend you lock in your choice as soon as possible!

We’ll be bringing you along for opening day of EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays so be sure you’re following Disney Food Blog for it all!
