We’ve Uncovered a Heinous Plot of Destruction in EPCOT’s Tiny Train Town!

The itty bitty train village in the Germany Pavilion is adorable and a fun sight to see when you’re in the park, but it’s also absolutely rife with crime and villainy. We’ve caught its residents in their misdeeds many times over the past few months — from murder to sabotage to underground crime rings. And we’re heading back this week to see what’s happening again!

As the self-proclaimed mayor of the tiny train town, I have a terrible update for you. During my last visit, I had begun to uncover a plot of sabotage within the train services department. A derailing had taken place, and I believed it was an inside job. Well now, the tragedy has struck again!

Houston, we have a problem.

In the past week, we’ve had multiple train derailings in our tiny village. Something is afoot here! Some of the cars have even been detached from the larger trains and abandoned on the side of the tracks!

Oh no!

One derailing in the mountain area of the village caused a loss of cargo. This will cost the taxpayers and local businesses thousands! Whoever the fiend is behind this anarchy must be STOPPED. Thankfully, all the engineers and train workers were okay in this situation.

Another one!

A separate derailing that happened closer to the station caused some passenger injuries and a delay with the train on the adjacent path! Those passengers are currently being treated at the closest medical facility, but it’s likely that a lawsuit is on the way for public transportation.

Not again!

Ultimately, I have made it my personal mission to get to the bottom of this! This is no coincidence that derailings keep happening again and again. I’ve hired some train experts to come to the town and check on things, but in the meantime, I’m launching a full-scale investigation into the transportation department to find the fiend responsible. We must stand together in this time of tragedy!

What gives, guys?!

Ultimately, at this time, I’m encouraging our citizens to use alternate forms of transportation when possible. Until this problem can be solved, train travel is not safe. If you see any suspicious behavior or notice anything out of the ordinary, please alert the local law enforcement and mayor’s office at once. 

Safety is our priority!

* The anarchy within is mostly created by natural occurrences, like giant squirrels, wind, rain, and relatively godzilla-sized lizards who frequent the town; but we find it fun and entertaining to make up fictional stories about what COULD be happening.  We are grateful to the folks who create and maintain this Tiny Train Town for Disney World, as it’s one of our favorite parts of EPCOT and always has been.
