This EPCOT Dining HACK Just Changed My LIFE…AGAIN!

Here at Disney Food Blog, we like to keep it real. We give credit where credit is due. Yes, we have a team full of former Cast Members, Disney park EXPERTS, and Annual Passholders. But even those of us who go to Disney World *literally* every single day still find new and exciting things that we HAVE to share. Today, we owe our excitement to a DFB reader!

We love to share any kind of lunch secrets, dining hacks, and reservation changes that we come across. We’ve told you how to avoid a major food fiasco and how to join a walk-up waitlist, but today, we’re telling you something even better. Buckle up.

First, we should give you a little context. We recently shared a tip on how to find some SECRET indoor seating in  EPCOT. Whether you’re looking for a place to enjoy a little meal OUT of the heat, or you just want to get off your feet for a moment, this secret location is a DFB favorite. As it turns out, we uncovered ANOTHER secret seating location after sharing our story! Thanks to DFB reader Bill G., we’re BACK to tell you about a spot in the U.K. Pavilion you might be walking right past. The Rose & Crown dining room begins service at 4PM, but earlier in the day (typically before 3PM), you can hang out in the dining room WITHOUT a dining reservation.

We headed straight to EPCOT to see for ourselves. Step one: secure some fish and chips from the Yorkshire County Fish Shop quick-service location next door.

Step two: walk over to the Rose & Crown dining room. After confirming with a Cast Member, the dining room had PLENTY of open seating — in the air conditioning!

Let’s go inside!

Ta-da! Take a look. This area is normally pretty full when the restaurant officially opens at 4PM, but during the day, you can relax inside without a dinner reservation. BRILLIANT!

We’d like to give a MAJOR shoutout to DFB reader Bill G. for the tip! This may be one of our new FAVORITE places to escape the heat and crowds in the World Showcase.

You don’t have to bring any food or drinks inside to sit here, but, like we said, this is a great spot to enjoy some fish and chips from the Yorkshire County Fish Shop nearby.
