Is This a CLUE That Something NEW Is Coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios?

We’re always on the hunt for something NEW to find around Disney World.

Some days, we find something that particularly piques our interests. Disney’s Hollywood Studios has been keeping a dirty secret — and by “dirty secret” we just mean that Starring Rolls Cafe has been sitting empty for seven years with nothing indicating Disney had any plans for the space. Until now, that is!

Starring Rolls Cafe closed in 2017 much to the chagrin of us and many other Disney fans. Cast Members weren’t told what the location would reopen as, or if it ever would. Even seven years later, we were left wondering about the future of this space — especially as the sign was still there, taunting us. But, something has changed at Starring Rolls, and we’re kind of excited about it.

Disney has removed the sign for Starring Rolls Cafe! The umbrellas also no longer feature any signs of branding to this former quick service location. Why are we so excited about this? Well, hopefully, it means that something new will be coming in its place! As for now, we haven’t seen any other signs or indications about what might be coming, but we won’t rest until we find out.

We recently got the menu for a new snack spot opening over on Grand Avenue in Hollywood Studios, so maybe this spot is next on the list for an update.

Luckily, there are plenty of incredible spots to grab a bite to eat around Hollywood Studios. Some of our favorites are Woody’s Lunch Box, Hollywood Brown Derby, and Ronto Roasters in Galaxy’s Edge!
