This Disney 100th Anniversary Souvenir from Target Might Haunt Our Dreams Forever

Before we show you this new Disney 100th anniversary souvenir, we have to WARN you. Nobody warned us before we saw it, and now it might haunt our dreams forever. It is — in short — absolutely terrifying.

Disney’s 100th anniversary brought lots of new merchandise to the parks, Amazon, Target, and more shopping locations. Most of the new collections were pretty cute, with lots of platinum and purple color schemes. However, Target is now throwing it back with a RETRO collection to celebrate the big anniversary and…well…some of the items are less “vintage chic” and more “just plain frightening.”

Do you see what we mean? OK, well, from far away you might actually think these plaid plushes are pretty cute. But we were almost immediately taken aback by the eyes of some of these characters.

Donald and Pluto

Donald in particular seems to be staring into our soul from a black and red abyss.

Goofy isn’t really much better.

These new toys are…not for us. But if they’re your thing, you can get them online or at your local Target! Who knows — maybe in 50 years they’ll be priceless vintage treasures. The set also comes with a collector’s coin.
