NEWS: RECORD HIGH Disney Genie+ Prices Continue on Christmas Day

It’s SANTA!

We’re in Disney World, today, for Christmas Day and it appears so are MANY of you! It’s the most magical time of the year in the Most Magical Place on Earth. We wish you all good tidings on your festive trip. But, unfortunately, we came with some not so great news.

Christmas Day is one of the BUSIEST days in Disney World. And as much as we wish Disney would just give us all the gift of a free park day, that is not the case. Instead, we’re seeing Genie+ prices at some of the highest of the year.

Today in Disney World you can purchase the Multiple Parks or Magic Kingdom experiences for $39, EPCOT for $32, Hollywood Studios for $35, and Animal Kingdom for $29.

Genie+ prices hit a record high on Dec. 23 and have stayed there.

 

This is a continuation of the record high prices for this service we have seen starting on Dec. 23rd, and we expect the high prices to continue through much of this week. It’s a significant jump from the prices we saw during Thanksgiving week.

For those unfamiliar with Genie+, it is the digital, in app, virtual park assistant. The main thing Genie+ does for you, is enable you to purchase Lightning Lane selections, so you can skip the lines at rides! However, you can purchase Individual Lightning Lanes without having to purchase Genie+.

Hopefully, we’ll see these prices coming down soon. But New Year’s Eve (another very popular day in the parks) is fast approaching, which could mean more high prices. We’ll be on the lookout for what happens over the next few days (and every day)!
