We’ve Eaten at Every Disney World Restaurant. These Are the Best.

One of the most important parts of your Disney World trip (in our opinion) is what you choose to eat! There are lots of great options for snacks and meals in the parks, but there are also some less-than-stellar eats to watch out for.

We’re in Disney World every single day, and we’ve tried just about everything there is to eat there. We’re here to help you find the best possible food, drinks, and snacks! Come along with us to see the best places to eat in Disney World.

In this post, we ranked a few of the best table service (sit-down) restaurants, some of the best counter service (fast food-style) restaurants, and the best places to get a snack or treat at every single Disney World park, at Disney Springs, and at the hotels. Of course, there are a lot more options than what’s listed here, but we focused on only the BEST eats for this list.

Magic Kingdom

Table Service Restaurants

You will need a reservation for table service restaurants in Disney World. You can start making those reservations 60 days before your trip. These meals tend to be more expensive than most counter service meals, and they’re also usually bigger and fancier. But which table service spot should you choose in Magic Kingdom? We’ve got the answer.

5. Be Our Guest Restaurant

Coming in at number 5 is the Be Our Guest Restaurant. At this Fantasyland restaurant, you can dine inside the Beast’s castle! There are 3 different themed dining rooms: the ballroom, the art gallery, and the West Wing. Diners can also spot the Beast himself walking through the restaurant.

This restaurant only serves lunch and dinner, and both feature a prix fixe menu, meaning you’ll pay one set cost and then choose an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. Eating in a castle doesn’t come cheap — currently, the meal costs $67 for adults and $39 for kids.

Be Our Guest

In our experience, the food here has been pretty good (especially the French Onion Soup!) but not knock-your-socks-off-amazing. So you’re really paying for the ambiance and setting rather than the food.

PROS:

• Beautiful setting — don’t forget to walk around and see all the different rooms.
• You might meet the Beast!
• It has good food (albeit not incredible food).

CONS:

• It’s pricey for what you get.
• There’s only a prix fixe menu available (no option to get a la carte instead).
• The meal can take a while, so you’ll lose time in the park.

4. Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace is located at the top of Main Street, U.S.A., with views of Cinderella Castle outside the dining room windows. This restaurant recently welcomed back characters, so you’ll dine with Winnie the Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, and Eeyore.

The food is served in a buffet, with options like carved meats, roasted veggies, Walt’s favorite chili, and a kids’ station. The food is pretty good, especially for buffet standards, with a few unique options like shrimp creole and plant-based curry.

With the return of characters came a hefty price increase. Currently, this spot is $59 per adult and $38 per child for lunch and dinner. Breakfast (with the characters) is a little cheaper, at $45 per adult and $29 per child.

PROS: 

• Characters are back! This is the only place to see all 4 of the Hundred Acre Woods friends in one spot.
• There are lots of options on the buffet.
• It’s not as crowded or hard to get reservations for as the other character dining locations.

CONS:

• It’s still pretty pricey for what you get.
• Not much on the menu for plant-based eaters or more adventurous eaters
• The restaurant isn’t really “Disney” themed besides the characters — it’s themed after the Crystal Palace greenhouse in Hyde Park in England.

3. Cinderella’s Royal Table

The icon that most people think of when they think about Disney World is Cinderella Castle. So of course the ultimate dining experience has to be eating INSIDE that castle, at Cinderella’s Royal Table!

The food here is good, but not great. It’s not bad by any means, but what you’re really paying for is the experience of eating in the castle, complete with vaulted ceilings and royal decor. A meal here for lunch and dinner costs $79 per adult and $47 per child, and breakfast is $65 per adult and $39 per child.

It’s certainly a pricey option, but at least now the princesses are back to roaming the dining room during your meal! When we stopped by recently, we talked with Snow White, Jasmine, Sleeping Beauty, and others.

PROS:

• You’re eating INSIDE the iconic castle — it doesn’t get more “Disney” than that.
• You’ll get to visit with Cinderella and other princesses.
• Views outside the windows of Fantasyland and the Hub are amazing.

CONS:

• The food isn’t great (not terrible, not amazing).
• It’s expensive for what you get.

2.  Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen

One of our favorite places to eat in Magic Kingdom is also one of the most underrated. The Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen is located in Adventureland, near the Jungle Cruise ride, which this restaurant is based on! According to the Disney legend, Alberta Falls (granddaughter of Dr. Albert Falls) took over the family shipping business and opened up the Skipper Canteen to host guests before or after they go on their Jungle Cruise ride.

The eats here are more unusual and unique than what you’ll find at most Magic Kingdom restaurants. They’re inspired by cuisines from around the world, so this is definitely a good choice for more adventurous palates.

Thai Noodles

Make sure to walk around and take in all the decor here — there are a ton of details that are easy to miss if you’re not looking! Adult entrées range in price from $21 to $38, and kids’ meals are $11 to $14.

PROS:

• It has more adventurous options than some other restaurants.
• There’s great theming and a cool backstory.
• The hilarious Jungle Cruise skippers are your waiters.

CONS:

• Menu options are not great for picky eaters.
• Unlike some other spots on this list, it’s not super “Disney” (unless you know the deep history of it).
• There’s not an awesome view outside the windows (unlike Crystal Palace and Cinderella’s Royal Table).

1. Liberty Tree Tavern

Our #1 pick for table service restaurant in Magic Kingdom is (drum roll please) Liberty Tree Tavern! This might be an unexpected pick, with options like Cinderella’s Royal Table available, but if you’re looking at the eats alone, this spot has the other places beat by a mile. It’s unlimited Thanksgiving food served all. year. long. How can you beat that??

The theming isn’t super “Disney” — instead, you’ll find dining rooms themed after influential U.S. historical figures. But there’s still some interesting decor to see, and it has a cozy vibe that we appreciate.

But what really seals the deal for us here is the dessert. The Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake is NOT something to be missed. It’s basically a warm toffee cake served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce, and it’s one of our all-time favorite treats in Disney World. This spot is also cheaper than most other table service restaurants in this park, coming in at $39 per adult and $21 per child.

PROS:

• You’ll find delicious and filling food (all-you-can-eat Thanksgiving feast) here!
• The vibes are home-y and comfortable.
• We’re in love with that dessert!

CONS:

• The food is very heavy — it might not be great for a hot day.
• There are no super adventurous options (but it’s a good spot for picky eaters).
• It’s not “Disney” theming.

Counter Service Restaurants

Now we’re moving on to the counter service restaurants in Magic Kingdom. You don’t need a reservation for these spots, and they tend to be much cheaper than the table service options. Check to see if the restaurant you choose has Mobile Order available. That can save you time because you won’t have to wait in line to order! There’s a pretty wide range of food types and quality in this park, so check out where you should eat here.

5. Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café (on Mobile Order)

Our #5 choice for counter service restaurants in Magic Kingdom is Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Café, located in Frontierland, just before you get to Adventureland. This spot has Mexican food on the menu, albeit not the most authentic eats you’ll ever see.

But it’s still a good spot to grab a quick bite, and there’s a lot of indoor seating available, which means AIR CONDITIONING. We also really like the queso here, which you can add to any meal for just $1. We still miss the miles-long toppings bar, which hasn’t returned since the parks shut down due to the pandemic.

PROS:

• Lots of air-conditioned seating
• More interesting options than just theme park food
• Queso (need we say more?)

CONS:

• Not authentic Mexican cuisine
• Food is tasty and not too expensive but also not super exciting or fancy
• Miles-long toppings bar is still not available

4. Pinocchio Village Haus (on Mobile Order)

Over in Fantasyland, you’ll find our #4 pick for Magic Kingdom counter service restaurants: Pinocchio Village Haus. This spot has mostly flatbread pizzas and salad, which tend to be a bit underwhelming but still tasty. We’ve really enjoyed a few specialty eats that you can sometimes find on the menu, like the Berbere Chickpea Flatbread.

A big bonus of this restaurant is the seating. It has lots of indoor tables and chairs, and some seats are near a big window that overlooks the “it’s a small world” ride!

PROS:

• Some of the limited-time options have been surprisingly interesting and tasty
• Fun seating options (overlooking “it’s a small world”!)
• Lots of seating available — it’s a lesser-known spot, so you likely won’t have to fight for a table

CONS:

• Most of the food is fairly mediocre
• Nothing super adventurous on the menu most of the time — just pizza
• Dining room can get loud during peak times

3. Casey’s Corner (on Mobile Order)

One of our favorite places to eat in Magic Kingdom is Casey’s Corner. Is it mostly because of the incredible location right in front of Cinderella Castle? Maybe…but not entirely. This is also the home of our beloved corn dog nuggets with plastic cheese!

You’ll find mainly theme park staples on the menu here, especially lots of hot dogs. So if that’s not your jam, you might want to opt for a different spot. But the food is pretty good and, like we said, you can’t beat this location. We recommend eating here during off-peak meal times (such as around 10:30AM or later in the afternoon, like at 3 or 4PM) because it can get very crowded for lunch and dinner.

PROS:

• Amazing location right at the top of Main Street, U.S.A.
• The ragtime pianist outside makes for a great ambiance
• Corn dog nuggets and plastic cheeeeeese

CONS:

• Pretty basic menu — if you don’t like hot dogs, this isn’t for you
• Can be crowded because of its location on Main Street, U.S.A.
• Most of the seating is outdoors, which means no air conditioning

2. Sleepy Hollow Refreshments (on Mobile Order)

The runner-up for the best quick service spot in Magic Kingdom has to be Sleepy Hollow Refreshments in Liberty Square. It has very limited seating (and none indoors), but the food here is good enough that we come to eat here all the time anyway.

The funnel cakes and Mickey waffles are great, but the real gems are the Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich (now available all day long instead of just for breakfast) and the Sweet-and-Spicy Chicken-Waffle Sandwich.

They’ve also got hand-dipped corn dogs!

PROS:

• Fun and unique eats (we love those waffle sandwiches!)
• Easy to grab-and-go
• Good location — close to Cinderella Castle

CONS:

• No indoor seating, not a ton of outdoor seating either
• Limited menu
• Some of the food can be tricky to eat (those waffle sandwiches will require a fork and knife)

1. Columbia Harbour House (on  Mobile Order)

And coming in the #1 spot for the best counter service restaurant in Magic Kingdom is Columbia Harbour House! This restaurant is SERIOUSLY underrated — many people pass it over for one of the more popular spots like Casey’s Corner. But you shouldn’t count it out! It has a surf and turf menu with eats like a lobster roll, a shrimp boil, grilled salmon, and chicken tenders.

There’s plenty of indoor seating here (hooray for air conditioning!), and the theming fits in very well with its location in Liberty Square. However, it’s not a super “Disney” atmosphere, so younger kids might not think it’s quite as fun as some other options in this park.

PROS:

• Not just your average theme park food (caters to both picky and adventurous eaters)
• Lots of indoor seating
• Surf and turf vibes appeal to multiple palates

CONS:

• Not a huge variety of options
• Not many plant-based options on the menu
• The atmosphere isn’t very fancy or “Disney” themed

Snacks/Dessert

3. Main Street Plaza Ice Cream Parlor

If you’re looking for a cold, sweet treat in Magic Kingdom, Plaza Ice Cream Parlor is the place to be. Although it has a pretty limited menu (just your basic ice cream and sundaes), the ice cream is high-quality. The location is also tough to beat — it’s right in front of Cinderella Castle, across from Casey’s Corner!

Unfortunately, this spot isn’t on Mobile Order, so you’ll have to wait in line to order your eats. Sundaes and floats go for $7 to $9, and a double-scoop ice cream cone is $6.79.

PROS: 

• Simple and delicious treats
• Great location (at the top of Main Street, U.S.A.)
• A cold snack is always welcome on a hot day in Disney World

CONS:

• Not a lot of seating
• Pretty basic menu (not a lot of exciting eats)
• No savory options on the menu

2. Spring Roll Wagon

Our second favorite place to find a snack in Magic Kingdom is the Spring Roll Wagon, located just in front of the Adventureland entrance if you’re coming from Main Street, U.S.A. These aren’t your average spring rolls — you’ll find a cheeseburger spring roll and other specialty flavors! Those flavors swap out every once in a while, but recently we’ve seen a pastrami spring roll; a chicken, ham, and cheese spring roll; and a pepperoni pizza spring roll.

Unfortunately, there’s not a lot of seating available in the area, and the price for just 2 rolls is a little bit high, at $9.50. Still, these are unique eats and, in our opinion, very tasty!

PROS:

• Unique snack — not something you usually see in a theme park
• Good location (right off Main Street, U.S.A.)
• Filling and delicious

CONS:

• No seating available
• A little pricey for what you get
• Not much variety on the menu — pretty much just the spring rolls

1. Aloha Isle

And the winner for the BEST place to get a snack in Magic Kingdom is Aloha Isle in Adventureland! This is the home of the iconic Dole Whip, which you should not miss. There are also Dole whip floats and various flavors that you can swirl with the classic pineapple, like raspberry and coconut.

Our favorite thing on the menu here right now is the Tropical Serenade — a 50th anniversary treat that features POG (pineapple, orange, and guava) juice with coconut dole whip. This spot used to be on Mobile Order, but it isn’t anymore. Seating is limited, so you’ll likely have to take your treat to go.

PROS:

• DOLE Whips!
• Seasonal menu changes, so there might be some unique/interesting options
• Our favorite 50th anniversary treat lives here: the Tropical Serenade!

CONS:

• Not on Mobile Order anymore
• Only sweet things on the menu — no savory
• Very limited seating

We’ve covered Magic Kingdom, so now it’s time to head over to Hollywood Studios to find out what you should eat over there!

Table Service Restaurants

4. 50’s Prime Time Café

You know when you’re home for a family reunion and you’re surrounded by cousins and relatives and your mom and grandma are both shouting at you to eat your veggies and get your elbows off the table? Those are the vibes that 50’s Prime Time Café strives for. The dining rooms at this spot are meant to look like 1950s-style kitchens, complete with little black-and-white TVs that show mid-century shows.

You’ll dine on comfort food like fried chicken, meatloaf, and pot roast, and your server will treat you like family…literally. Sassy antics and shenanigans thrive at this spot! The food is really good and reasonably priced, and the unique atmosphere makes this a great choice for lunch or dinner.

However, the meal can take a long time (you may not want to sacrifice your time in the park for it), and the interactive environment could be an introvert’s nightmare.

PROS:

• Best for those looking for comfort foods aplenty
• Fun servers that add a wacky twist to an already unique dining room setting
• Seriously – SUCH good milkshakes

CONS:

• Not great for those who want a quick meal and not a restaurant that’s going to take a chunk of time out of the park day
• Foods can be a little *too* familiar for more adventurous eaters
• Not the place to go if you’re looking for a peaceful, romantic meal

3. Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater

We’re moving from one unique restaurant to another! Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater is designed to look like a drive-in theater. You’ll sit in a car-shaped booth while you watch short (and cheesy) sci-fi clips on the big screen in front of you. Don’t worry about the rain — this drive-in is indoors. The setting alone is a good enough reason to stop by.

The food here is mostly burgers, shakes, and fries (think diner food), and it’s decent. The dining arrangement is a little bit awkward if you wanted to have conversation during your meal, as everyone is turned to face the screen instead of each other. The main reason for visiting is definitely the unique theming, and we think kids especially will love it!

PROS:

• Best for those looking for an EPIC themed dining experience with super-retro vibes
• Hearty portions with classic foods
• Great for those who are looking for dinner and a show

CONS:

• Seating can make it difficult to talk to your group/may be bad for those uncomfortable with small spaces
• Not great for those looking for something different than the usual American fare
• Takes a lot of time out of your park day to experience

OVERALL: 8/10

2. Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano

Mama Melrose’s combines Italian cuisine with California charm. Confused? Yeah, we don’t blame you. Apparently the backstory is that Mama Melrose moved to Cali to become an actor, but her Italian cooking was the real star of the show. This spot combines her two loves!

So how is Mama Melrose’s cooking nowadays? In our experience, it’s pretty inconsistent. Sometimes it’s great, and sometimes it’s just a bit disappointing. But when it’s great, it’s really GREAT. The menu isn’t cheap, so you’ll want to consider whether it’s worth the risk to you!

PROS:

• Best for people looking for a sit-down Italian meal in the park
• Cutesy dining room with fun Californian/Italian decor
• Simple and approachable food

CONS:

• Not great for those wanting something a little more adventurous
• Heavy pasta dishes + Hot day in the park + multiple thrill rides = a possible recipe for an upset tummy
• Potential of paying a hefty price for an “okay” meal

1. The Hollywood Brown Derby

And the #1 spot for a table service meal in Hollywood Studios goes to the iconic Hollywood Brown Derby. This is one of the most delicious and historic dining experiences in all of Disney World. It’s a replica of the famous Hollywood restaurant, and it’s also the signature restaurant of Hollywood Studios. Reservations fill up quickly for this spot, so get yours quickly if you want ’em!

Note that the Hollywood Brown Derby Lounge is a good option if you can’t get those reservations — it accepts walk-up guests and has many of the same classic menu items as the full restaurant. Some of our favorite eats here include the Famous Cobb Salad, Free-Range Chicken à la King, and Grapefruit Cake. As a signature restaurant, this spot is on the pricier side.

PROS:

• Best for those looking for a romantic signature restaurant to dine at (which will immerse you in those old Hollywood vibes)
• Consistent top-notch gourmet selection
• The lounge is a solid alternative if reservations are filled

CONS:

• Not great for those looking for a lighter meal before riding a whole bunch of thrill rides back-to-back
• Pricey (it’s called *signature* for a reason!)
• Walk-ups for the lounge can get crowded during the lunch and dinner rush

Counter Service Restaurants

Now we’re moving on to the counter service restaurants in Hollywood Studios. You don’t need a reservation for these spots, and they tend to be much cheaper than the table service options — but that doesn’t mean they’re not as good! In fact, we sometimes prefer these eats to the fancier table service meals.

Check to see if the restaurant you choose has Mobile Order available. That can save you time because you won’t have to wait in line to order!

5. ABC Commissary — Mobile Order Available

ABC Commissary used to be a definite “pass” for us, but recently they’ve re-vamped their menu, and the new eats have really impressed us! The restaurant is themed after a production studio commissary, with posters and props for TV shows and movies all around. There’s a lot of indoor seating here, which is a huge plus.

The menu has some good options like the Pork Carnitas Tacos, Curry Rice Bowl with Shrimp, and the Watermelon Margarita. We also really liked the Buffalo Chicken Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

PROS:

• Best for those looking for more unique fast food options on a budget
• Mobile ordering availability
• Good portions for what you pay for

CONS:

• Not great for those looking for a fun and immersive setting
• Definitely still more *unique* options out there
• If you actually preferred the old chicken tenders and burgers menu, you’re going to
  have to look elsewhere

4. Woody’s Lunch Box — Mobile Order Available

Looking to dine in Toy Story Land? You’ve only got one option for quick service dining: Woody’s Lunch Box. This restaurant literally looks like a giant lunch box, and the only options for seating are outdoor tables with umbrellas. If you’re lucky, you might get to sit on a giant Babybel cheese! (Disney partnered with Mini Babybel for this restaurant.)

Some good options on the menu here are the Totchos (nachos but with tater tots), BBQ Brisket Melt, and Lunch Box Tarts. Those tarts might just look like fancy pop tarts (and OK, maybe that’s exactly what they are), but we love ’em all the same! There are often specialty flavors for different seasons. On a cool day, you can’t go wrong with a grilled cheese and tomato soup here, either.

PROS:

• Good mix of sweet and savory options for both breakfast and lunch/dinner
• Affordable menu

CONS:

• Not many options for kiddos
• All seating is outdoors (and with that Orlando sun, sometimes eating a hearty cheese sandwich when it’s sweltering outside isn’t the best of times)

3. Docking Bay 7 Food & Cargo — Mobile Order Available

Over in Batuu (AKA Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge), Docking Bay 7 is one of the quick service restaurant options. It’s run by Proprietor Chef Strono “Cookie” Tuggs, who honed his skills in the kitchen of Maz Kanata. There’s some indoor seating available here, though not a ton.

You’ll find some familiar eats with a twist here, along with more bizarre options. The Fried Endorian Chicken Tip Yip is a safe option (it’s just fried chicken), and we also enjoy the Topato Stir-Fry and Roasted Endorian Chicken Salad.

PROS:

• Best for Star Wars fans who don’t want to fight tooth and nail for a reservation at Oga’s Cantina
• Unique quick service options
• Fun Batuu backstory and theming

CONS:

• Not the greatest option for pickier eaters
• Not a huge selection of kid-friendly options
• One of the pricier quick service locations

2. Ronto Roasters — Mobile Order Available

Docking Bay 7 is pretty good, but we actually like the other dining option in Galaxy’s Edge even better. Introducing Ronto Roasters! When you walk into the restaurant area, you’ll see a pitmaster droid busy at work turning a mechanical spit to cook up your meal. Seating is all outdoors here (the whole restaurant is open-air), although most of it is under a roof to keep the rain or sun off.

Ronto Roasters has very few menu options, but what’s on there is GOOD. The Ronto Wrap is one of our favorite things to eat in this park, and the breakfast version (the Ronto Morning Wrap) is super popular as well. And don’t ignore the plant-based Zuchii Wrap either! This might not be the best place for very picky eaters or little kids (as there isn’t much to choose from on the menu besides those wraps), but the eats aren’t so bizarre that they would scare off most eaters.

PROS:

• Best for those who want the QUICKEST food option in Batuu
• A more adventurous hot dog with a plant-based alternative

CONS:

• *Potentially* too adventurous for some – especially with such a limited menu
• Seating is limited

1. Backlot Express — Mobile Order Available

Our top pick for counter service (fast food) restaurants in Disney World is (drumroll, please) Backlot Express! This “warehouse of good eating” is themed as a production warehouse, so be sure to get up and look at all the props and decorations during your meal. The food here isn’t mind-blowing — it’s mostly burgers, sandwiches, and salads — but most everything is pretty good.

A huge perk of this restaurant is the plethora of indoor seating available. And with a mix of familiar favorites and some more interesting eats, there’s something for everyone on the menu! The stand-out item here has to be our beloved Wookie Cookie (two oatmeal cookies sandwiched together with vanilla cream).

• Best for picky eaters
• Has a LOT of dining room seating
• WOOKIE COOKIE

CONS:

• Not the best if you’re kind of tired of typical theme park fare
• WAY better burgers in Disney World for you to choose from
• Though we *do* love that Wookie Cookie, dessert options are otherwise limited here

Looking for a quick snack, treat, or drink in Hollywood Studios? We’ve got you covered. Here are the 5 best spots for a quick bite!

5. Oga’s Cantina

We’re about to say something shocking, so just prepare yourself. Oga’s Cantina just might be a *little bit* overrated. This Star Wars-themed bar does have incredible theming, we fully admit. But sometimes the drinks and eats (especially the eats) leave something to be desired.

Now, don’t get us wrong — a big Star Wars fan will LOVE the opportunity to hang out in this bar, and for the atmosphere alone you might want to book a reservation. But those reservations are hard to get (some of the most difficult to find in Disney World). If you do go, make sure to try the Fuzzy Tauntaun (for the 21+ crowd) and the non-alcoholic Blue Bantha!

We recommend skipping the eats — there are only a couple of snack options, and neither has impressed us in the past. Seating is very limited as well, so you’ll probably find yourself standing at the bar. Reservations have a 45-minute limit, so don’t expect to spend your entire evening at this spot!

• Best for Star Wars fans who wanna try it all!
• Exciting intergalactic cocktails
• Lively and vibrant energy

CONS:

• The hardest reservations to get in Hollywood Studios
• Not best for those wanting a snack alongside their drink (very limited, strange, and pricey options available)
• Crowded

4. Epic Eats

With a name like that, your expectations are probably very high for the Epic Eats snack stand. And rightfully so — this is where you can find funnel cakes! (OK, so maybe the menu isn’t exactly “epic,” but who doesn’t love a funnel cake?) The funnel cakes here are served with various toppings, like soft-serve ice cream.

There’s no seating here, so expect to take your funnel cake to go. You’ll probably be able to find a table on the other side of Echo Lake, at the Dockside Diner, or just pick a bench somewhere along the lake.

PROS: 

• You like funnel cakes at the fair? You’ll like these!

CONS:

• Funnel cakes only here – so don’t be expecting any *light* sweet treats

3. BaseLine Tap House

BaseLine Tap House is another bar/lounge in Hollywood Studios, but it’s very different from Oga’s Cantina. For one thing, the theming here isn’t quite so in-your-face. And for another, the snacks on the menu are WAY better.

This is a good place to grab a beer, and don’t forget to try the charcuterie board or the Bavarian Pretzel (with beer cheese fondue!). There’s some indoor seating, but there’s quite a bit more outside. And while this is a great spot to hang out with some adult friends, it doesn’t have the most kid-friendly menu (unless your kids love charcuterie and spiced almonds?).

PROS: 

• Best for those looking for a selection of cold beers on tap
• One of the better pub-like options on Disney property
• Also, one of the better soft pretzel options on property (all hail the beer cheese!)

CONS:

• Replaced Writer’s Stop (and it still feels like salt in a wound)
• Limited indoor seating
• Not the most kid-friendly snack stop

2. Kat Saka’s Kettle

Kat Saka’s Kettle is a DIVISIVE little snack stand in Batuu (Galaxy’s Edge). This stand serves two different kinds of popcorn: Buttered Blue Grains (blue-colored buttered popcorn) and Outpost Popcorn Mix.

That Outpost Mix is a fairly strange combination of sweet and spicy flavors, and it’s definitely not for everyone. However, some people really love it! So if you’re feeling adventurous and want a twist on a classic theme park food, this would be a fun option to try.

• Traditional and unique popcorn in a fun Star Wars setting

• What even* is* the Outpost Popcorn?

1. The Trolley Car Café

If you already know that Trolley Car Café is the Starbucks location in this park, you might be questioning our decision to put it in the #1 spot. But if you further know that this is the home of the beloved Carrot Cake Cookie, then you will definitely agree with us!

If you go to Hollywood Studios and DON’T eat a Carrot Cake Cookie…did you even really go? It’s a fan-favorite staple at this park, and for good reason. And while you’re here getting the cookie, you can grab your favorite coffee, too.

PROS:

• CARROT CAKE COOKIE
• Great for those looking for their Starbucks fix

CONS:

• Starbucks drinks mirror the ones you’ll find back home
• Can get pretty busy – especially first thing in the morning

EPCOT

Of course, EPCOT is known for its festivals, which take place throughout the year (there are four festivals each year). These festivals bring lots of food booths to the park, which means even MORE options for snacks and drinks. We love snacking around the booths, and we highly recommend doing that if you visit during one of the festivals.

However, for this post, we’ll focus on the restaurants that are available year-round in EPCOT.

Table Service Restaurants

5. Chefs de France

Chefs de France can be found in — you guessed it — the France pavilion! This spot is an authentic French bistro featuring eats like French Onion Soup, a charcuterie board, Ratatouille, Boeuf Bourguignon, and (our favorite) gruyere cheese baked Mac and Cheese.

While this is a great option for those who enjoy French cuisine, it might be tricky for picky eaters to find something they like on this menu. In addition, it’s a bit more upscale, so it’s better for date night or an adult dinner party rather than for families with younger kids.

PROS:

• Classic French options
• An escape from the theme parks if you’re feeling overwhelmed
• Great for a romantic dinner

CONS:

• Not great for guests in a hurry
• Only French cuisine served here — not a great variety for pickier eaters
• Not the best option for families with younger kiddos

4. Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria

Via Napoli has hands-down the BEST pizza in EPCOT, and we’d even say it’s the best in all of Disney World! Although the pizzas can be pretty pricey here, the larger sizes are definitely big enough to feed a group. We recommend the Quattro Formaggi and Prosciutto e Melone pizzas.

Authentic eats aren’t the only thing to recommend this spot — the atmosphere is impressive at Via Napoli as well. The dining room has soaring ceilings (which can make it a bit loud in here when it’s crowded) and 3 massive wood ovens named after the three active volcanos in Italy.

• Best pizza on property
• Easy to share with the group
• A mix of casual and upscale vibes

CONS:

• Limited menus for those who don’t like pizza or have certain allergies
• You pay the big bucks for this quality pizza
• Appetizers and desserts are nothing to write home about

3. Rose and Crown Dining Room

We’ve been to France and Italy now, and for the next restaurant on this list, we’re visiting the UK. The Rose and Crown Dining Room is a cozy pub that serves British classics like shepherd’s pie and fish & chips. And you can’t forget to order an Imperial Pint from the pub while you’re here!

This location has fireworks dining packages available as well, and it’s one of our favorite choices for those packages. If you book a dining package for Harmonious at this spot, you’ll be sat out on the lakefront patio for great views of the nighttime show.

PROS:

• Best Fireworks Dining Package
• Great balance of both traditional and adventurous options
• Cozy atmosphere

CONS:

• Not great for those looking for a lighter lunch/dinner option
• Takes a chunk of time out of your day to dine here
• If you’re wanting Fish and Chips, they’re CHEAPER at Yorkshire! To get them here, you’ll be dropping $26 as opposed to the basket of them just next door for $13.

2. Le Cellier Steakhouse

If you’re looking for a great cut of steak in Disney World, there may not be a better option than Le Cellier, found in the Canada pavilion of World Showcase. You’ll dine in a wine cellar, with wooden tables, stone walls, and candle sconces. Some of our favorite options on the menu are the Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup, the Filet Mignon, and the signature Poutine.

The ambiance here makes it an excellent choice for date night, and the service has been consistently good when we’ve visited. However, it may not be the best place to bring smaller kiddos, and the menu is definitely on the more expensive side. As a signature restaurant, it’ll have most entrée options around $50.

• Best date-night restaurant
• Consistently good service
• Top-tier steaks, entrees, and appetizers

CONS:

• Not the best for families with smaller kiddos
• Pricey
• Heavy portions (which might not be the best idea if you’re going to walk around in the Orlando heat after)

1. Garden Grill Restaurant

Garden Grill is, in our opinion, the BEST table service restaurant for families. It’s located on the second floor of The Land pavilion in EPCOT’s World Nature area, and the dining room slowly rotates (!!), showing off views of the Living With the Land boat ride below. It’s also a character dining meal, so you can say hello to Farmer Mickey, Chip, Dale, and Pluto while you eat.

The menu here is pretty straightforward, which makes it great for kids or picky eaters. It’s a harvest-inspired meal with a salad, mashed potatoes, meat, and a berry shortcake.

PROS:

• Best for families
• Unique atmosphere and fun character meet and greets
• Good selection for picky eaters

CONS:

• Not the best for more adventurous eaters
• Takes a chunk of time out of your park day
• Not serving breakfast at this time

Counter Service Restaurants

Now we’re moving on to the counter service restaurants in EPCOT.

World Showcase

Check to see if the restaurant you choose has Mobile Order available. That can save you time because you won’t have to wait in line to order! There’s a HUGE range of food types and quality in this park, so check out where you should eat here.

5. Crêpes À Emporter by La Crêperie de Paris

This service window is where you can get delicious crêpes fast. Crêpes À Emporter at La Crêperie de Paris is the quick service component of the full-service restaurant that it’s attached to. You’ll find both sweet crêpes and savory galettes on the menu, with options like the Cream of Brie Cheese Galette and the Hazelnut & Chocolate Crêpe.

There’s also a selection of hard ciders, sparkling drinks, and wine available here. One of the biggest problems is that there isn’t a lot of seating offered (basically your only choices are the few benches located nearby or standing), so you’ll often see guests sitting on the ground nearby to eat their crêpes.

PROS:

• Great for guests who want a speedy savory or dessert crepe
• Unique dining option
• Affordable

CONS:

• Limited menu (that’s smaller than its table service counterpart)
• Lighter options (which isn’t the best for those who’ve worked up an appetite around the showcase)
• Not a buckwheat fan. (Since all galettes are made with buckwheat)

4. Yorkshire County Fish Shop (on Mobile Order)

Yorkshire County Fish Shop serves ONE thing: Fish and Chips. And that’s it. Well, there are sometimes limited-time treats or snacks offered here, and yes there’s also a drinks menu. But really those Fish & Chips are what this spot is all about. The fish is battered and fried until it’s crisp, golden, and beautiful, and we’re big fans of the thick-cut chips as well.

This spot is also pretty inexpensive — you get a good portion for what you pay, so if you’re not too hungry, a single serving could easily be a hearty snack for a couple of people to share. Seating here is outdoors at lakeside tables with umbrellas, and because of Yorkshire County Fish Shop’s popularity, it can be a little tricky to find an available spot during crowded days.

PROS:

• Great fish and chips!
• Affordable
• Quick and easy

CONS:

• Just fish and chips
• Not great for those looking for unique items or a variety of options
• Nearby tables can fill up quickly, meaning you may have to eat on-the-go

3. Sunshine Seasons

If you’re trying to find a restaurant with enough options to please many different palates, Sunshine Seasons will be the best choice. This spot serves up options for picky eaters (like pizza rolls and grilled chicken) and adventurous eaters (like an Asian vegetable noodle salad and Mongolian beef) alike. There are even a few options here for plant-based eaters (like vegetable korma and a Mediterranean sandwich).

There’s also a LOT of indoor seating offered at this restaurant, so it’s a good choice for very hot or rainy days. We recently tried the spicy fish tacos here and were pleasantly surprised by how tasty they were! And don’t forget to check out the desserts — the turtle brownie is one of our favorites.

• Best for catering to a variety of tastes/wide variety
• Affordable options
• TONS of seating

CONS:

• Not the best for foodies looking for “top-tier” dining
• Though there are more “adventurous” options, EPCOT still has more unique dining available elsewhere
• Even standard options (like sandwiches and flatbreads) have better alternatives around World Showcase

2. Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts and Barbecue

Head to the American Adventure pavilion to visit Regal Eagle and get some of the best barbecue in Disney World. This restaurant serves American BBQ inspired by different regions of the country. Think Memphis Dry-Rub Pork Ribs, a Texas Beef Brisket Sandwich, and Kansas City Half-Smoked Chicken.

There’s plenty of seating indoors as well as some options outside if it’s a nice day. And you can stop by the outdoor bar to grab some drinks for your meal as well. But the best part? This joint is run by Sam Eagle of the Muppets! You’ll find nods to the theme throughout the restaurant.

The food here is well-priced for the amount and quality, but if you have an incredible barbecue spot at home, you may want to skip this one — it might not hold up to the really authentic stuff.

• Best barbecue location
• Affordable and filling
• Sam the Eagle runs the show here

CONS:

• May not be the unique cuisine you’re looking for
• Not good for those looking for “fancy” dining
• Also, not great for vegetarians

1. Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie

We’re back at the France pavilion again for our TOP choice for quick service food in EPCOT. It’s the Les Halles Boulangerie-Patisserie! If you don’t know this spot is here, you might miss it entirely, but that would be a tragic mistake. This bakery is full of delicious eats, both savory and sweet. You can get sandwiches, soup, salad, pastries, macarons and more. We like to order a bunch of different things and share them among the group.

The seating for Les Halles is pretty limited, so you might need to take your food to go. There are more tables outside, which might be your best bet. Les Halles is also one of our favorite places to go for breakfast, since it’s open earlier than most restaurants in the morning.

• Best breakfast stop
• Affordable options
• Delicious and different variety

CONS:

• Seating can get crowded
• No Mobile Ordering available
• Lines can get long during lunch/dinner

3. La Cava del Tequila

A very popular watering hole in the Mexico pavilion, La Cava del Tequila is home to over 200 tequilas and unique margaritas. Check out some of the celebrity-inspired drinks as well! But we don’t just come here for the drinks — the tapas-style snacks are not to be missed, especially the chips and queso.

Seating at La Cava is very limited, but you can always take your eats and drinks to go if needed. Like we said, this is a popular joint, so you should try to visit earlier in the day if possible to avoid the long line! Head inside the Mesoamerican pyramid to find it.

PROS: 

• Best selection of alcoholic beverages (over 200 tequilas and margarita varieties!)
• Drink in the AC(!!)
• Drinks can be taken to go, as well

CONS:

• Limited seating (can only hold 30 guests at a time)
• Super busy later in the evening (or on rainy days)
• Not a lot of food options here

2. L’Artisan des Glaces

We’re back at the France pavilion once more, this time for dessert! L’Artisan des Glaces serves 16 flavors of house-made ice cream and sorbet. One of our favorite treats here is the Brioche Ice Cream Sandwich, but don’t miss out on the Macaron Ice Cream Sandwiches either. The 21+ crowd can enjoy the Ice Cream Martinis as well!

With a variety of ice cream treats on the menu, there’s something for everyone here (as long as everyone is looking for a cool treat). Seating is pretty much non-existent, so you’ll need to take your treat to go.

PROS:

• Fantastic assortment of ice cream and ice cream-inspired treats
• Fun ice cream drinks for the 21+ crowd
• A great stop on a hot Orlando day

CONS:

• No savory eats
• No seating inside
• Limited options (just ice cream treats)

1. Karamell Küche (on Mobile Order)

And the #1 choice for snacks and treats in EPCOT (and the only restaurant in the entire park to score a perfect 10/10) is awarded to Karamell Küche in the Germany pavilion! You’ll smell this fantastic spot before you see it, and you won’t be able to resist the sugary, buttery goodness inside. Everything sold here is sweet, so don’t come in looking for a savory snack.

Some of our favorite snacks here are caramel popcorn (do NOT miss out on this!), caramel butter bars, and caramel cupcakes. One of our favorite seasonal snacks — the Gingerbread Salted Caramel Buttercream Cookie Sandwich — has been upgraded to a year-round option! There’s no seating inside the bakery, so you’ll need to take your treats to go.

PROS:

• Best snack location
• Fresh, house-made caramel treats
• Mobile order capabilities

CONS:

• Just desserts here
• Can get busy throughout the day
• Not great for guests who aren’t big into sweets

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

3. Tusker House Restaurant

Tusker House is the only character dining spot in Animal Kingdom, so this is the place to be if you want to meet Mickey and his pals during your meal — they’ll be dressed in their safari best! As a character meal, it’s going to be a bit more expensive than most sit-down meals in Disney World. It’s located in the Africa section of this park and is designed to look like an open-air market (although it’s all inside).

Tusker House

Tusker House is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Until recently, the food here was served family-style with all-you-care-to-eat skillets. Now, however, buffets have returned. Some of our favorite eats here include Mickey waffles and Durban chicken and egg curry for breakfast and bottomless bread service, Cape Malay green curry shrimp, and Moroccan spiced beef for lunch and dinner.

PROS:

• Great for those looking to see a lot of popular characters at once
• Also great for those who are HUNGRY and want a LOT of adventurous eats
• Oh, did I mention the bread service is *bottomless*? Ask for a refill anytime!

CONS:

• This is another pricey meal $$$
• If you don’t plan on eating a ton OR you don’t really like a lot of the options on the buffet, you’re not going to get your money’s worth
• This experience takes an hour or two out of your park day to experience

2. Tiffins

As this park’s only signature dining location, Tiffins is the fanciest restaurant at Animal Kingdom. The decor inside is fascinating, with 3 different dining rooms including the Asia-themed Trek Gallery, the Africa-themed Safari Gallery, and the animal art Grand Gallery. If you dine here, definitely take some time to look at all the artifacts.

The pricey menu, decadent eats, and upscale atmosphere mean this is a great option for special occasions or date night. But it’s not going to be the most budget-friendly choice in Animal Kingdom. Some of our favorite things to get here are the signature bread service, the Tamarind-braised short rib, and the chocolate ganache. Keep in mind that you can sometimes order from the Tiffins menu if you’re visiting Nomad Lounge — and that might save you some cash!

PROS:

• *The* park’s signature dining restaurant (which is perfect for special occasions)
• Beautiful rooms with artifacts and decor that celebrate travelers and their stories
• Adventurous offerings

CONS:

• $$$$
• Menu does have a few more “familiar” items to choose from, but the limited “safer” options may not be worth the price tag
• Takes a chunk out of your park day to sit down and enjoy this signature meal

1. Yak & Yeti Restaurant

Our #1 pick for table service restaurants in Animal Kingdom is the Yak & Yeti Restaurant in the Asia section of this park. Seriously, you’d have NO idea that the same group that runs Rainforest Café is also responsible for Yak & Yeti (no offense Rainforest Cafe). This is a beautifully themed restaurant that serves Asian-fusion cuisine.

This spot also has an intricate backstory. Apparently, the building is owned by a former merchant named Arjun, who transformed his ornate home into lodging for travelers who need a place to crash during their long journeys. There are some great sharable plates here (like the ahi tuna nachos and lettuce cups) that are definitely big enough to split between a few people, so you can feed a group without hurting your wallet.

Some of our other favorite eats include the firecracker shrimp, chicken tikka masala, Bhaktapur duck, and fried wontons (for dessert). Don’t forget to try the Yak Attack cocktail!

PROS:

• High-quality Asian-fusion cuisine
• Great for groups looking for a sit-down meal that doesn’t break the bank
• Fun story and overall theming

CONS:

• Takes time away from your park day
• Not great for those who don’t enjoy Asian cuisine
• If you’re looking to save even MORE money, you can always try its sibling restaurant, Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafes

5. Pizzafari — on Mobile Order

Coming in as the #5 best counter service restaurant in Animal Kingdom is Pizzafari at Discovery Island. Although this isn’t our favorite place to eat, we have to give it some credit for having a LOT of indoor seating and some unique dining rooms covered in colorful murals. It’s open for lunch and dinner, and the menu (as you can probably tell) is hearty Italian-American options, including pizza.

The problem with the pizza here is that it’s Disney World’s classic fast-food puffy pizza. You can find it in all 4 parks at various counter service locations, and it’s just not anything to write home about. BUT we know that lots of kids are big fans of these pizzas, so this is a good place to go if you’re trying to please some younger eaters.

PROS:

• Great for kiddos and/or choosier eaters looking for a familiar meal
• Beautiful murals!
• Quick and affordable

CONS:

• Very standard theme park food options
• Not great for more adventurous pallets
• If you’re a pizza snob, don’t get your hopes too high for the pizza here…

4. Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery

You might not think that a coffee shop is the best place to get lunch, but Kusafiri will surprise you. This little window located near Kilimanjaro Safaris has recently seen some impressive menu updates.

For breakfast, you’ll find a selection of pastries or a more substantial breakfast sandwich. For the rest of the day, the menu includes heartier eats like chicken and pork flatbreads or spiced potato hand pies. The snacks here are big enough to be meals (and they’re a pretty good deal for the price), and we’ve really enjoyed everything we’ve tried!

PROS:

• Great for those trying to track down breakfast
• Unique lunch options available

CONS:

• Coffee IS served here, but you don’t have a giant VARIETY like you do other locations
• Not the best lunch option for picky eaters

3. Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafés

You might be confused about how we’re back at Yak & Yeti even after we already crowned it the best table service restaurant. Well, that spot has a sister restaurant that’s a counter service location! Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with hearty portions of pan-Asian specialties.

There’s no indoor seating here, so it might not be the best option for rainy or super hot days. But we’d still brave the weather to get the chicken fried rice. (That fried rice is one of our favorite meal hacks in Disney World — it’s technically a side, but it’s hearty enough for a small lunch and only $6.99!)

PROS:

• Great selection of breakfast, lunch, and dinner options

2. Flame Tree Barbecue — on Mobile Order

Flame Tree Barbecue is a great option for families, as it has lots of familiar and hearty eats on the menu. It’s located near the Discovery Island bridge to DinoLand, and the outdoor seating boasts some gorgeous views of Discovery River. The tables are located inside colorful pavilions, so even though they’re outdoors, you’ll still be sheltered from the sun or rain.

The menu here has barbecue classics like smoked chicken, St. Louis ribs, a pork sandwich, and baked mac ‘n’ cheese with pulled pork. And you can usually find seasonal cupcakes here as well! Even though the food isn’t super adventurous, we still think it’s a step above the average theme park eats. And the fact that it won’t break the bank doesn’t hurt either!

• Great for those looking for a hearty meal on a budget
• Familiar options for pickier eaters

CONS:

• Not great for those on a plant-based diet
• A heavy meal might not be great for those looking to snack throughout the day
• Straight-up – you don’t love bbq? You won’t love it here.

1. Satu’li Canteen — on Mobile Order

Our favorite place to get a fast food meal in Animal Kingdom is Satu’li Canteen in Pandora — The World of Avatar. The theming for this spot fits right in with the land, as it’s a mess hall for the RDA that was converted into a peaceful dining location for visitors to Pandora.

The menu features customizable bowls that include a base (rice, noodles, potatoes, or lettuce), a protein (or fried tofu), and sauce. But we’re also big fans of the cheeseburger steamed pods, which are basically cheeseburger-flavored bao buns! There’s plenty of indoor seating here as well.

PROS:

• A great option for those who aren’t necessarily *completely* picky eaters, but also aren’t necessarily *completely* adventurous eaters, either
• High quality quick service dining
• Customizable options = ability to accommodate MANY types of eaters

CONS:

• Not exactly the *quickest* quick service out there
• Prices here aren’t outrageous, but they can be pricier than other quick service options in the park
• Bowls can be TOO much food if you’re not super-hungry. (You may want to consider splitting one if you’re looking to snack later on?)

5. Dino-Bite Snacks

Head to DinoLand U.S.A. to find one of our all-time favorite treats in Animal Kingdom: the Dino-Bite Snacks ice cream cookie sandwiches! This treat is pretty simple — just ice cream sandwiched between 2 cookies — but somehow it’s so much more than the sum of its parts.

There’s a standard chocolate chip-vanilla ice cream option available year-round, but keep an eye out for seasonal flavors too. You can also get floats, chips, and Mickey pretzels (with cheese sauce) here, but other than that, there isn’t much on the menu. Still, we keep coming back for those ice cream sammies!

PROS:

• Best. Ice cream sammiches. Ever.
• Also serves other sweet treats – like hot fudge sundaes and ice cream floats

CONS:

• Only has two salty options available (Mickey Pretzels and bags of chips)
• Not great for those looking for something more *sustaining*

4. Pongu Pongu

You’ll find more unique eats over in Pandora — The World of Avatar when you visit Pongu Pongu. This snack stand’s name means “Party Party” in the language of the Na’vi, and the story goes that an ex-pat fell in love with Pandora so he decided to stay and set up shop.

There are some alcoholic and non-alcoholic sips here, including the Hawkes Grog Ale (a green beer!) and the Night Blossom (a non-alcoholic specialty drink). The Pongu Lumpia is a famous snack — it’s a spring roll filled with cream cheese and pineapple, and it’s been known to be fairly divisive (the DFB team is split on this one). A safer option might be the french toast sticks for breakfast or the Na’vi-sized pretzel with beer cheese sauce in the afternoon.

PROS: 

• Selection of breakfast options available
• Unique (and tasty!) frozen beverages (that are more interesting than a Frozen CocaCola)

CONS:

• Not a place for a substantial meal (unless a giant pretzel with beer cheese will do the
  trick)
• Ponga Lumpia is a hit or miss for many. (Will YOU take a chance on it?)

3. Anandapur Ice Cream Truck

Honestly, just the look of this snack stand is enough to get it on our list. It’s a beautifully decorated truck that serves soft-serve ice cream and other cool snacks over in Animal Kingdom’s Asia.

Vanilla, chocolate, or swirl ice cream can be served in a waffle cone, or you can try a float (with your choice of a fountain drink). This spot usually also has specialty sundaes, which might change based on the time of year. We recently saw a Yeti Sundae here, which has chocolate and vanilla soft serve, blue cake crumbs, sugar snowflakes, and chocolate yeti decal.

PROS: 

• Great for those looking for unique soft-serve options
• BEAUTIFUL artwork on the truck (can someone paint a room in my house like this?)

CONS:

• No seating
• VERY limited menu (if you’re looking for a BUNCH of soft serve places in one location, you may be disappointed)

2. Eight Spoon Café

If you’re not careful, you’ll walk right past Eight Spoon Café and not even notice the amazing eats on the menu! But don’t worry — now you know to pay close attention to this unassuming kiosk. You’ll find it on Discovery Island, just before the bridge that leads to Asia.

This spot has some truly unique snacks like the baked mac ‘n’ cheese with pulled pork and the pulled pork-jelly doughnut sandwich! If you want something classic, there’s also a Mickey pretzel on the menu here. Keep in mind that you’ll need to get to this spot early in the day — it usually closes around 5PM.

PROS:

• Tasty, creamy, and affordable mac and cheese
• Adventurous jelly doughnut? (Because why not??)

CONS:

• Not great for those looking for something light to snack on
• Closes early

1. Nomad Lounge

The #1 BEST place for a snack or drink in Animal Kingdom is Nomad Lounge. This lounge is connected to the signature restaurant Tiffins, so you can sometimes order from the Tiffins menu here. There are hand-crafted cocktails, mocktails, and small plates on the menu, along with African, Asian, and South American wines and beers.

The indoor lounge area has unique decor and comfortable seating, but we love the outdoor covered patio with its views of the Discovery River and relaxing ambiance.

Nomad Lounge Churros and Dipping Sauces

Some of our favorite eats here have been the Tiffins bread service, the baked lobster mac ‘n’ cheese (this is a secret menu item that’s only available sometimes — ask your server about it!), and the amazing CHURROS. Seriously, these are the best churros in Disney World. The only downside to Nomad Lounge is that it can be tricky to get into. Seating is limited, so you’ll want to get your name on the walk-up waitlist ASAP. That wait list typically opens at 11AM and fills up quickly.

PROS:

• A great selection of cocktails, wines, and beers
• Fantastic views
• Tasty small plates for adults; solid lunch options for kiddos

CONS:

• Walk up waitlist has the potential of filling up (And filling up QUICK)
• Small plates are tasty but don’t offer a huge variety
• Not the best for less-adventurous eaters who also aren’t big on the whole cocktail scene

5. Morimoto Asia 

Morimoto Asia was created by Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, and its menu features Pan Asian cuisines (Chinese, Japanese, and Korean options), including dim-sum style with small plates, meat plates, noodle bowls, and the extremely pricey (but delicious) Japanese A5 Wagyu Beef.

If you step outside, you can also order from the Morimoto Asia Street Food counter for more pan-Asian options, without the whole table-service business. It’s a little less Disney and it can be expensive, but it’s great for a date night or upscale restaurant experience!

PROS:

• It’s gorgeous (those chandeliers!)
• Upscale experience
• Quality Pan-Asian eats

CONS:

• Expensive
• Not for people who don’t like Pan-Asian cuisine
• Not for kids or picky people

4. Raglan Road 

If you’re looking for a lively and authentic Irish pub atmosphere, look no further than Raglan Road. Not only can you catch live Irish music and dancing on select dates, but you can also choose from tasty Irish eats like fish and chips, bangers and mash, shepherd’s pie, bread pudding, and more.

Even some of the interior of Raglan Road is authentically Irish, and by that we mean some of the bars and furniture were shipped directly from Ireland to Disney Springs. Finish off your meal with an Irish beer!

• Live Irish music
• Authentic Irish food and atmosphere

• It can get loud
• Live music isn’t daily
• You have to like Irish food

3. The BOATHOUSE

The BOATHOUSE is arguably the best place to go for seafood in Disney Springs! Choose from market fresh fish, Maine Lobster Tail, Shrimp & Andouille Mac & Cheese, and treat yourself to Key Lime Pie in a Mason Jar for dessert!

Next to The BOATHOUSE are the amphicar water cruises in vintage car “boats” as well as a water taxi and retro dream boats. Follow your night of waterfront seafood dining with a 20-minute guided tour of the lake on an amphicar!

• Amazing seafood
• Feel like you’re eating seaside
• Boat tours

CONS:

• Very expensive (but hey, it’s lobster)
• Not a quick restaurant
• Desserts are meh

2. Wine Bar George 

If you’re a wine-lover, head to Wine Bar George for over 130 choices of wine and unique small plates. The restaurant is led by Master Sommelier George Miliotes, and the staff is known for their extensive wine knowledge, so if you aren’t sure what wine to choose they will surely help you! You can dine on small plates most times of the day, but entrees are also served between 12PM to 3PM. Some of our favorite dishes include the Saganaki on Fire and Crispy Mac & Cheese Bites!

If you’re strapped for time, stop by The Basket at Wine Bar George — their attached counter service location. Grab a sandwich and wine slushie and be on your way!

• Small plate prices can add up
• Not super family-friendly

1. Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ 

Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ is a table service restaurant in the Landing in Disney Springs. It was created by celebrity chef Art Smith, and the menu features Southern cuisine inspired by local Florida wildlife and agriculture. On the weekends you can even grab brunch!

Get the classic Art’s Famous Fried Chicken or go for artisan options like the Thigh High Chicken Biscuits or the Cuban Sandwich. Don’t forget to splurge on a side of Cheddar Cheese Drop Biscuits or get the pineapple-banana Hummingbird Cake!

As a popular restaurant, it’s not an easy task to snag a reservation at Homecomin’, and it’s not exactly the healthiest (or cheapest!) meal you can find in Disney Springs. Still, if you’re looking for a comforting and filling meal, this is it!

• Sustainable, locally-sourced ingredients
• You won’t leave hungry

CONS:

• Can be pricey (Art’s Famous Fried Chicken is $32!)
• Heavy meal
• Not the easiest for reservations

5. Polite Pig

Polite Pig is the home of modern, Florida-inspired barbecue, with wood-fired, smoked, and grilled options. Visit the Bourbon Bar to choose from over 50 different kinds of bourbon, or choose from their extensive variety of craft beers available on tap.

The Hop Salt Pretzel with beer cheese fondue is a delicious way to start your meal, followed by options like the Low & Slow Brisket, Burnt Ends BBQ Meatballs, Fried Chicken, and plenty more. On a busy day, you might find a long line to order your food, but there is plenty of space for indoor and outdoor seating.

• Actually GOOD BBQ
• Tasty appetizers
• Bourbon Bar

CONS:

• Expensive for quick service
• LONG lines
• Not for people who hate barbecue

4. Cookes of Dublin

If you can’t get a reservation at Raglan Road, visit the Irish quick service spot known as Cookes of Dublin. Here you can enjoy the Famous Fish and Chips and Dubliner Irish Cheese & Bacon Soup as well as burgers, sandwiches, and desserts.

The menu isn’t super extensive but you can get pub food that won’t take all day! But keep in mind that this isn’t the place for people who don’t like Irish food or who are looking for a light meal.

3. Earl of Sandwich

Earl of Sandwich is a popular chain restaurant that serves quick sandwiches, wraps, and salads. It’s known for being affordable but since it’s also popular, it tends to have quite a long line.

There’s tons of seating and the food is easy to take on the go, but you might also find an Earl of Sandwich in your hometown, so it’s not super unique.

• Affordable sandwiches
• Tons of seating
• Tasty and easy to take on the go

• Limited to mostly sandwiches (hence the name)

2. D-Luxe Burger 

D-Luxe Burger is a quick-service burger joint that serves what could very well be some of the best burgers in Disney World. Choose from gourmet burger flavors like the Dublin Burger, the Barbecued Burger, the El Diablo Burger, and more, and grab an artisanal gelato shake with flavors like s’mores, strawberry, and cookies ‘n cream!

D-Luxe Burger

You can also order freshly-cut fries, and if sauce is your thing, you can choose from several housemade dipping sauces for your fries! If you’re looking for a GOOD burger in Disney World, D-Luxe is the place to visit.

PROS:

• Delicious burgers that aren’t typical quick-service Disney burgers
• You’ll leave FULL
• Milkshake options

CONS:

• You have to like burgers
• Not a table service environment
• Not the healthiest menu

1. Chicken Guy!

Chicken Guy! is Guy Fieri’s quick-service chicken restaurant, where the main feature (besides chicken, obvi) is the sauce. This restaurant offers 22 different dipping sauces to choose from! You can get usual sauce flavors like buffalo, buttermilk ranch, and honey mustard, but why not step out of your comfort zone to try wasabi honey, bourbon brown sugar BBQ, spicy mayo, sweet sriracha BBQ, and more?

So what are you actually dipping into your sauce? Grab an order of chicken tenders or try a signature chicken sandwich, and don’t forget to order fries covered in the Chicken Guy!’s signature seasoning!

• Not exactly adventurous
• Very limited seating
• Can have a very long line

4. The Ganachery

The Ganachery is actually tied with the next restaurant so we’re counting them down the same! This gourmet chocolate shop serves house-made ganache, truffles, and chocolate bars, and guests can even watch the chocolatiers making chocolates.

You can also find limited-time and seasonal offerings like drinking booze out of a chocolate bunny (yes, for real), so if you’re a big chocolate person you might want to make The Ganachery a must-visit.

3. Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop

Ghirardelli is such a delicious dessert spot that you can literally SMELL it from a distance. We’re not kidding — the smell from Ghirardelli is all around the building and no one is complaining. It doesn’t have a totally groundbreaking menu, but you can order tasty chocolate squares, sundaes, shakes, cocoa drinks, and more.

This sweets shop features both indoor and outdoor patio seating, but it CAN get crowded at times. Still, the smell alone might tempt you into a visit.

Vivoli il Gelato is where you can get authentic gelato at a family-run gelateria, and they’re willing to take risks with special temporary offerings. From the regular menu, you can order gelato, fruity sorbetto, milkshakes, floats, cannolis, and more!

Although the menu can be pricey, the limited-edition offerings are sometimes worth a try because of how unique and interesting they are. Plus, we’re talking authentic Italian gelato! How can you say no?

Gideon’s Bakehouse is a local Orlando bakery that opened its second and flagship location in Disney Springs, and it has been a hugely popular spot ever since. They serve the most ginormous cookies you’ve probably ever seen, plus other sweet treats with special monthly offerings. You can also get a slice of cake and sip a tasty cold brew!

The inside of Gideon’s is small and the demand is high, so you’ll generally find a LONG line to enter the store. If it’s later in the day, you may find a virtual queue with a 2+ hour wait! But the cookies, the spooky vibe, and the overall theming are WORTH the wait.

• Tiny store

Salt & Straw is the newest ice cream spot in Disney Springs, serving quite possibly the funkiest ice cream flavors you will ever taste. We’re talking flavors like Arbequina Olive Oil, Freckled Mint Chocolate Chip, Bottomless Limes!, and Adventurous Llamanaut, among many others.

Though they do serve some typical ice cream flavors, this isn’t the best spot for picky eaters, and there’s no seating inside or outside. But still, if you want to step out of your ice cream comfort zone, head to Salt & Straw.

The California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is truly a masterpiece of fine dining and has been recognized by the Michelin Guide for its innovative chefs, market-inspired menus, and incredible quality.

‘Ohana — Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Let’s talk about a fan favorite — ‘Ohana at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort! ‘Ohana has been a popular choice for YEARS thanks to its delicious all-you-care-to-eat Polynesian feast served family-style and chill island atmosphere. The noodles here are so famous that when the restaurant reopened without them on the menu, people RIOTED on the internet and get them brought back.

This restaurant is incredibly popular and hard to get reservations for, so you’ll want to plan in advance.

Sanaa — Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

Let’s head on over to Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge to look at Sanaa (located at the Kidani Village side of the resort). Here, you can dine with a view of the savanna, so make that midday reservation for a chance to see the animals!

Sanaa has a spectacular bread service, along with some classic African cuisine. It’s a meal that’s typically made for adventurous palettes, but it remains one of our favorite restaurants on Disney World property year after year. Definitely pay this underrated restaurant a visit!

Steakhouse 71 — Disney’s Contemporary Resort

Opened in 2021 at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, this restaurant has a traditional American steakhouse vibe, with varying menus for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We’re not always the biggest fans of sit-down meals in Magic Kingdom, and if you aren’t either, then this restaurant is just a short walk away, a little reprieve from a busy park day. We have to recommend the burger (it’s a classic!) and the French Onion Soup has been a favorite for many as well.

Victoria & Albert’s — Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

And finally, we have to mention the king of all Disney World restaurants, Victoria & Albert’s. This AAA five-diamond restaurant is a culinary experience for those truly dedicated to finding the BEST food on property. During your meal you’ll be served by two dedicated servers and treated to personalized menus.

Chardonnay Time

The Chef’s Tasting Menu in the main dining room includes between eight and twelve courses. It’s a multi-hour experience, and it’s certainly a meal you won’t soon forget!

Yachtsman Steakhouse — Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

There are several dining rooms with an upscale vibe. You’ll spot lots of wood incorporated into the design of the space, with those nautical details, and plenty of natural light (if you happen to dine here before sunset). The streamlined curves, natural woods, and soft linens all lend themselves to that classic nautical feeling.

And while the upholstery isn’t going to captivate you, the showpiece of the restaurant is the open kitchen and the butcher block where you watch as chefs expertly carve out each unique steak — because the real star here is the meat. No fireworks or characters at this restaurant, because you’ll want to focus all of your attention on the prime choice cut of steak you’re about to enjoy.

Capt. Cook’s — Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is home to SO MANY great dining options, but one of our favorite spots for a quick bite is Capt. Cook’s! Consistently, this location is a fan favorite.

This counter-service location usually serves up Tonga Toast at breakfast and pulled pork nachos that are worth leaving Magic Kingdom for!

You’ve heard about that amazing fireworks view at the California Grill, well, at the Lounge you can see the fireworks without having to first secure a reservation.

The lounge is first come, first served, and as you can imagine, people tend to try to get a table around fireworks time. A great tip is to go earlier in the evening to avoid the fireworks rush, because as long as you return with your receipt, you can still access the observation area to watch the fireworks.

Crew’s Cup Lounge — Disney’s Yacht Club Resort

This favorite, located at Disney’s Yacht Club Resort, is just a cozy little lounge, but the menu features some of the most amazing food from the adjacent Yachtsman Steak House. If it’s a full-on prime rib dinner you’re looking for, you’ve found it here.

You can also enjoy bar snacks like truffle fries, and the menu features all of your classic lounge favorites like scotch and cognac, plus an extensive wine list and some local draft beer.

Enchanted Rose Lounge — Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa

A lounge based on a love story? Awwww, yes, please! Set in Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa, The Enchanted Rose Lounge serves up sips and snacks in a space reminiscent of that tale as old as time, Beauty and the Beast.

And because this is the Grand Floridian, you won’t find pub grub here. The menu takes your average bar food and makes it both elegant and enticing. With options like Crab Macaroni and Cheese, Artisanal Cheese Selection, and the famous Truffle Fries, you won’t even miss the Grey Stuff — the whole menu is delicious.

Geyser Point Bar and Grill — Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Not quite a pool bar, Geyser Point Bar and Grill is just near the main pool at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. Nestled in the Pacific Northwest setting of the resort, the open-air bar has both a table service lounge and a walk-up quick service counter. The menu has excellent options for the foodie in the family.

Drinks here take on the Pacific Northwest theme of the resort and some native beers. But one of the real draws of this bar is the location. The Wilderness Lodge is already beautiful, but with the waterfront views offered at this location, and the fireplace to warm up to on a cool evening, it’s easy to see why this ranks among our favorite spots.

Tambu Lounge — Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

What could be better than listening to Polynesian music while sipping a fruity tropical drink out of a pineapple? Doing it at the Tambu Lounge at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.  The Lapu Lapu, served in a whole pineapple, is a treat right off the beach in Hawaii, with dark rum and tropical fruit. You can almost feel the beach breeze.

Even more tastes of the tropics can be found in the Hawaiian Mule or the Polynesian Mai Tai.

Territory Lounge — Disney’s Wilderness Lodge

Warm wood, cozy seating, and soft lighting aren’t the only highlights of the Territory Lounge. And while a lot of the top bars and lounges on our list get there based on elaborate theming or unique drinks, this hang-out is a standout when it comes to lounge eats. The menu varies seasonally, so you are likely to find a seasonal soup, plus there’s usually a charcuterie and a mouth-watering dessert.

Three Bridges Bar and Grill — Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

Create your own Sangria. Need I go any further? Three Bridges Bar and Grill at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort is the home of Sangria University where an actual sangria sommelier will educate you on sangria. Guys, you can get a SANGRIA DIPLOMA. Okay, we may be a little too excited, but what an incredibly unique experience, and one of the big reasons Three Bridges makes our favorites list.

A Pretty Drink with a Pretty View

The bar has a bright, tropical feel with some comfy seating options, and the eats here are pretty darned delicious. The shareables, like the house-made guacamole and the roasted corn dip, are crowd pleasers; and the entrees like the poke bowls and the steak frites pack a flavorful punch (just ask for the fries on the side if you go for the steak frites to avoid losing some of the crispness of the fries).

Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto — Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Jungle Cruise fans will remember Trader Sam from his days as the “head salesman” in the jungle, but you gotta love his side hustle. Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto brings to light Sam’s devotion to drinks, and his mad love for mixology.

We love hanging out in here!

Tucked into a back corner of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, this lounge is a little crazy and a lot of fun. And if you’re looking for some kid-free time, you’ll find it here after 8PM.
