A Complete Guide to the 2023 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival Scavenger Hunt

The 2023 EPCOT Food and Wine Festival has begun, and there are some AMAZING eats and drinks at the various food booths around the park. But the food isn’t the only fun part of this event!

One of the best family activities you can take part in at EPCOT right now is searching for RATS throughout World Showcase. No, we don’t mean real rats (we hope you don’t encounter any of those on your Disney World trip)…we mean REMY! Now, we’ve got a complete guide to the Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt at the Food & Wine Festival to help you along the way.

Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt is back for another year at the Food & Wine Festival, and we’re ready to look for some rats! This is an activity made for the whole family.

It folds up!

To get started, pick up a scavenger hunt map from one of the following locations:

  • Disney Traders
  • Port of Entry
  • Creations Shop
  • World Traveler at International Gateway
  • Festival Merchandise Kiosks

2023 Remy’s Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt Map

Along with the map, you’ll get a page of stickers that you’ll use to mark your progress as you complete the scavenger hunt. Each sticker coincides with a Remy statue hiding in World Showcase. Once you find a statue, you place the sticker that matches that statue on the map in the correct location.

The map and stickers set costs $9.99. If you don’t want to pay for the map, you can still search for Remy throughout EPCOT! You just won’t get the prize at the end, but it’s still a fun activity.

Hide and Squeak!

We like that this year’s map folds up so that it can easily fit into your backpack or purse. Got your map? It’s time to search for Remy!

** SPOILER ALERT ** 

We’ll be showing photos of where the little Remy statues are hiding throughout World Showcase here — if you don’t want any clues and just want to do the scavenger hunt on your own, don’t look ahead!

Remy is hiding in fifteen locations around World Showcase. When you spot a statue, you’ll put the correlating sticker on the correct location on your map. Here are all the locations:

Coastal Eats Food & Wine Festival Booth — Look above you, around the tip of the marketplace booth. Remy is hiding above the register line, close to the entrance of Creations Shop.

Mexico pavilion — Remy is hiding above the entrance to La Cantina de San Angel.

China pavilion — Look on the top left corner of the China Food & Wine Festival booth.

India Food & Wine Festival booth — Remy is on the top right-hand side of the booth.

Refreshment Outpost — Remy can be found across from the restaurant, near the rock formations in front of the outpost.

Germany pavilion — Check the balcony above the Kunstarbeit in Kristall store!

Italy pavilion — Head towards Via Napoli. Remy is hiding above the entrance to this restaurant.

Brazil Food & Wine Festival booth — You’ll find Remy in the top left corner of the booth.

Canada pavilion — Remy can be found in between the shops, sitting on the roof.

Now that you’re finished, you’ll bring your completed map back to Creations Shop, Disney Traders, or World Traveler at International Gateway. There, you can pick up your prize!

Redemption Location

This year’s prize is an insulated lunch box. Cute AND practical! If you’re eating around the world at all the festival booths, you might need this lunch box to take your leftovers home.
