Were Trying 12 NEW Snacks at Disney Springs Which Is the BEST?!

Disney Springs has a TON of limited-time treats right now! Restaurants in Disney Springs are celebrating the Flavors of Florida with specialty eats and treats that feature the flavors of the Sunshine State.

Flavors of Florida Sign 2022

We’re heading in to check out a BUNCH of these Florida-themed snacks. Come along with us to help us decide which are the BEST and which you’ll want to SKIP.

Orange Cream Puff — Amorette’s Patisserie

This is a choux pastry with orange craquelin filled with orange curd and honey orange gel for $8.

Orange Cream Puff

We loved this treat! It doesn’t have an overly strong orange flavor despite having so much of it mentioned in the description, and the orange curd was light and packed with flavor.

So cute!

The honey-orange gel was good, but it almost tasted like a melted gummy fruit snack in the center, so we would have been fine with just the orange curd inside. We also found the puff pastry to be a little hard to cut into, but we understand it’s because it has to keep all that orange goodness inside!

Yum!

Overall, if you like puff pastries and oranges, give this one a try!

Orange Bird Dome Cake — Amorette’s Patisserie

The Orange Bird Dome Cake is made with layers of Grand Marnier-soaked vanilla chiffon cake, mandarin pâte de fruit, mandarin orange cream, and white chocolate crispy pearls. This cake is $65 (!!!), so be prepared to fork over a pretty big stack of cash for this dessert.

Orange Bird Dome Cake

It’s pricey, but we know Amorette’s usually doesn’t disappoint with its flavors, so if you want to split it with a few friends and split the cost, we hope you love it!

Orange Cream Float — Coca-Cola Rooftop Bar

This float is a mix of Coca-Cola, vanilla ice cream, and an orange cream bar presented in a novelty cup you can take home for $12.

Orange Cream Float

We’ve got one word for this: nostalgia. The flavor of the ice cream really brought out the spice (yes, there’s spice flavoring in Coke) in the syrup of the soda. If you grew up with floats, it’s a refreshing treat on a hot day and might spark conversation between generations after you’re seen with one.

Super refreshing!

However, this treat is messy! The ice cream melts fast, meaning the drink starts to spill over, so be sure to grab some napkins. If you’re a fan of soda and ice cream, we highly recommend this treat.

Frozen Orange Daiquiri — Dockside Margaritas

The Frozen Orange Daiquiri is made with Siesta Key Silver rum, Cointreau liqueur, orange juice, and vanilla ice cream garnished with an orange wedge. It can be yours for $16.50.

Frozen Orange Daiquiri

We enjoyed the Margarita, but it almost tasted like a smoothie with the added orange juice and vanilla soft-serve ice cream. You can really distinguish the orange flavor and the cream from the ice cream, but it tastes just like a creamsicle Margarita.

Very refreshing!

We think the ice cream made it a little hard to drink through the straw we were given, but we really have no complaints about the drink itself!

Delicious!

If you’re looking for a summery, refreshing drink that definitely tastes strongly of orange, give this one a try!

Key Lime Chocolate Chip Cookie — Gideon’s Bakehouse

This Gideon’s cookie is made with vanilla bean cookie dough infused with Florida Key lime juice and blanketed with premium chocolate chips and special Key lime pie crumbs. Grab one for $6. We’ve tried a Key Lime cookie from Gideon’s Bakehouse in the past and LOVED it, so we had high expectations for this treat.

Key Lime Chocolate Chip Cookie

We loved the cookie dough — the vanilla was good and the key lime flavor was a fun sweet/citrusy kick (it wasn’t overwhelming, just enough to make it interesting). The cookie dough was soft and deliciously decadent. The key lime pie crumbs were a fun texture as well!

We love Gideon’s Cookies!

This one really is messy, though, so be sure to grab some napkins. Honestly, we would have preferred fewer chocolate chips on this one (they melted all over our hands!). If you REALLY love chocolate and key lime, grab this one, but prepare for a potentially long wait since Gideon’s is so popular!

Orange Mocha Nitro Cold Brew — Gideon’s Bakehouse

And we can’t forget the coffee! This is dessert coffee made with locally roasted beans, maple syrup, rich dark chocolate, and delicious Florida oranges for $6.

Orange Mocha Nitro Cold Brew

This was a fun mix of flavors! We liked the sweet, rich flavor of the maple mixed with the citrusy kick to balance it out. It was very unique, so we’re sure not everyone will love this. The chocolate flavor is also VERY prominent, so if you love the flavor combination of chocolate and orange, you’ll likely really enjoy this!

VERY chocolatey!

This is described as a dessert coffee due to its sweetness, so watch out if you’re not big on overly-sweet coffees.

Buzzin Honey Latte — Joffrey’s

The new latte is a buzzing combo of espresso, milk, honey, and vanilla syrup topped with cold foam and a special character. It can be yours for $6.49.

Buzzin Honey Latte

This was a nice creamy latte! The coffee was smooth and not bitter at all, and the honey added a nice sweetness. This is very similar to the honey nut latte Joffrey’s had for the Flower and Garden Festival (which was for Annual Passholders only). If you didn’t get the chance to try the AP-exclusive drink, this could be a great alternative!

Adorable!

The bee image didn’t last very long, we would have liked more cold foam on top, and we wish it had Honey Nut Cheerios like the Flower and Garden Festival version. But overall, we recommend this for all coffee and honey lovers! (Unless you’re #TeamStarbucks through and through)

Pizza Diavola — Pizza Ponte

This pizza is made with Salame Calabrese and chili with local Orlando petal honey. It’ll cost you $8.75.

Pizza Diavola

The portion is quite large, so bring your appetite! The crust was soft but had a great garlic hint to it. The toppings taste very fresh and the meats had a really nice low spice to them in the aftertaste!

It’s HUGE!

We only caught the honey flavor in certain bites, so other than that and the extra spices, it kinda just tasted like a normal pepperoni slice. This one didn’t particularly stand out to us. It wasn’t bad but it isn’t one of our top recommendations.

Key West Pink Shrimp Ceviche — Polite Pig

Over at the Polite Pig, we tried the Key West Pink Shrimp Ceviche, which is made with shrimp, smoked melon, shishito peppers, and local tomato vinaigrette with a drizzle of hot honey. It’ll cost you $20.

Key West Pink Shrimp Ceviche

This was loaded with flavor! The shrimp was tender, so juicy, and sweet. The shishito peppers and corn almost tasted like a giardiniera (probably from the vinaigrette) — they had a nice vinegary bite and were a tad spicy and sweet.

Looks so good!

The smoked watermelon was SO unique — the sweet/smoky flavor was a good combo, and the melon itself stayed refreshingly crisp.

Watermelon

While we really liked this snack, it is a unique combo. The vinegary flavor was great for summer, and the smoked watermelon also had a fun texture, but if you don’t like certain textures in your foods, you probably wouldn’t love it. It’s also decently spicy and pretty pricey!

Shrimp

If you’re looking to try something unique and you enjoy shrimp and spice, don’t be afraid to give this one a try.

Exquisito Guanabana Stracciatella — Salt & Straw

This unique ice cream flavor is tropical guanabana sherbet swirled with ribbons of dark chocolate Stracciatella with a floral undertone. It’ll cost you $7.25 for a single scoop in a cup.

Exquisito Guanabana Stracciatella

All the flavors worked really well together! The Colombian dark chocolate gives a great crunch to the bite while it’s still frozen, and the Guanabana fruit mixes in to create a really great combination.

So delicious

That said, it’s pretty standard (minus the different fruit flavors) since it’s set against vanilla ice cream and ultimately just felt like a jazzed-up ice cream with hard-shell chocolate mixed in.

Take a bite!

If you like fruity flavors, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate, we say give it a try!

Orange Creamsicle Churro — Sunshine Churros

Our next treat is a churro rolled in orange sugar, topped with cream cheese frosting, and a sprinkle of orange and white toppings. It costs $7.95 or $7.10 after a 10% Instagram discount (just show them that you follow them on Instagram)!

Orange Creamsicle Churro

This is a pretty basic snack. We loved the sweet icing flavor against the sugar flakes, and the sprinkles were fun, but they didn’t add much to the flavor.

It’s definitely shareable!

This snack is definitely shareable, and if you’re a churro lover, you’ll likely enjoy this treat.

Orange Bird Sundae — Swirls on the Water

This is made with DOLE Whip Orange in a vanilla waffle bowl with whipped cream, green sprinkles, and an Orange Bird chocolate decoration. It only costs $6.49!

Orange Bird Sundae

The dole whip was light, bright, and tart, and since it was a tad icy rather than creamy, the whipped cream went really well with it. The waffle bowl was tasty as well!

It’s pretty big too!

The only thing we didn’t like was the white chocolate Orange Bird piece on the top because it had a weird texture. But other than that, if you love orange and Dole Whip, we say snatch this one up!
