BREAKING: New Restaurant Announced for Disney World

Welcome to Disney Corn Dog Blog, where we profess our love of Corn Dogs all day, every day. Okay, okay, we’re kidding. But seriously, we do love those Casey’s Corner Corn Dog Nuggets (with a healthy helping of cheese, of course).

Now that we’ve established our authority on all things Corn Dog, let’s get to the point, shall we? We just learned that a NEW snack stand is coming to Disney World later this year, and guess what they’re selling?

CORN DOGS! The Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs Instagram account recently shared a BIG update: Disney’s BoardWalk Resort is getting a corn dog stand of its own. This is cause for celebration, people.

If you’re unfamiliar, Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs currently serves Hand-dipped Corn Dogs and other unique Corn Dog creations over in Disneyland at the Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs kiosk in Downtown Disney.

The Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs Instagram announcement reads, “Guess what!!! That wait is over Florida, we’re finally expanding to Disney’s Boardwalk later this year!! Get excited because we are!!” From the looks of the video, this new Corn Dog stand will be over by the BoardWalk To Go kiosk, which is currently closed.

In the past, BoardWalk To Go served boardwalk-style snacks like fried mac and cheese bites, hot dogs, cheeseburgers, and corn dogs. But now, it looks like we can expect MORE corn dog-style snacks! We’re still waiting on a menu and opening date for this location, so stay tuned for additional updates.

While we wait for the official Disney World menu to be released, we can take a look at what’s being served over at the Downtown Disney location. In the past, we’ve tried a Mexican Street Corn Dog, a Christmas Corn Dog, and even a Golden Dragon Corn Dog from the little kiosk in Disneyland.

We’ve seen a LOT of impressive corn dogs pop up at the Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs stand before, but the Pickle Corn Dog is known as one of the more interesting (and controversial) menu options. As you can probably tell, it’s got a fried Panko crumb crust with a GIANT hot dog-stuffed pickle center. Yeah, it’s insane. And incredible. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for some savory and unique options like this in Disney World, too!
