The NEW Disney World Hotel Room That Comes With TWO Free Meals
There’s a NEW hotel in Disney World that you might want to check out!
The Drury Plaza Lake Buena Vista is located in the Disney Springs area of Disney property, and though it’s not owned by Disney, it has some great perks that might just make your stay worthwhile. Included in your booking are both a continental breakfast and a 5:30PM “kickback” meal. On top of that, you’ll get some of the perks that Disney-owned hotels have, including Early Theme Park Entry. But we all know that the sleeping conditions matter when choosing a hotel, so what do the rooms look like?
We were recently invited out to check out the Drury Plaza Lake Buena Vista for a media event, during which we were given the opportunity to take a tour of some different hotel rooms. One of those rooms was the Two Queen Room with a View, which sleeps four people.
As you may have guessed by the room type, there are two queen beds in each of these rooms. There’s also a sitting area, a desk, and a TV in the main part of the space.
When you book a room with a “view,” you get a pretty spectacular view of Disney World property, and you can even watch the EPCOT fireworks from some of these rooms!
The desk comes with a rolling chair and an in-room phone. There are several outlets spread throughout the room for plugging in your devices, as well. There’s a three-drawer dresser below the TV, which isn’t a lot of clothes storage for four people, but there’s a little more storage space in the entryway, too.
Each of the rooms without a balcony has a seating area next to the window. It comes with two little chairs, a table, and a lamp. Just imagine the view if you turned those chairs around and drank your morning coffee facing the window!
Also, the windows have double curtains for extra privacy. We were on the 12th floor, so we weren’t really at risk of people glancing into the windows, but it’s nice to have the option of closing the curtains.
Heading back out into the entryway of the room, there’s a great multipurpose space here. You’ve got a small wardrobe area with hangers for your clothes, as well as an ironing board and a safe. For food prep, each room comes with a mini fridge, a microwave, and a small, one-cup coffee maker.
There’s also a vanity and a small stool — a good place to sit and get ready if you have multiple people staying in one room, and you’re out of space in the bathroom.
And finally, we come to the bathroom. It’s all one space with a toilet, a sink, plenty of counter space, storage, and all the usual bathroom amenities like towels, hair dryers, and complimentary soaps.
There’s a walk-in shower with handrail, a small ledge for toiletry storage, and pump dispensers of Drury’s shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your use.
If you’re traveling as a party of one or two, you can also get this room configuration with just a King bed. We stepped inside a room across the hall to check it out, and it was all the same except for the bed and the fact that the layout was opposite.
So that’s a tour of a two-queen room with a view at the Drury near Disney Springs! We’ve got more room tours to share with you from this hotel in the future, so stay tuned to DFB for all the updates. We’ll keep you in the loop.
