EPCOT Debuts a NEW Park Map — See ALL of the Updates Here!
Something a little sad is happening in Disney World.
The 50th Anniversary Celebration is finally coming to an end. We’ve already seen a lot of the 50th decor disappearing from the parks, and we’re wondering what’s going to happen to Cinderella Castle once it’s over. We’re also mourning the loss of some of the best 50th anniversary snacks. But change is what Disney World is all about, and a NEW change has signaled that this party is officially over.
We’ve already seen the 50th-anniversary stuff taken off the park map for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Well, now the EPCOT park map has changed, too! Here’s what the previous map looked like:
The new map isn’t so sparkly and just has an image of Spaceship Earth on it. All the 50th-anniversary stuff has been removed, too!

Inside, you’ll find that the Beacons of Magic is no longer mentioned, but it does show that the Spaceship Earth lighting nighttime shows will still go on. There’s a new tagline: “The magic of possibilities.”
Disney Ducktales World Showcase Adventure has also been taken off the map, but it’s mentioned in the “Fun for Kids of All Ages” section, as is The Seas with Nemo & Friends. Connections Cafe & Eatery is also no longer highlighted. Under Dining, Chip ‘n’ Dale’s Harvest Feast at Garden Grill Restaurant is highlighted.
The actual map has some changes, too. The Harmonious barges are GONE. As we know, Harmonious is ending with the 50th anniversary, and EPCOT Forever, which has been added to the new map, will be the interim nighttime show starting April 3rd, until a new show premieres later this year.
Begone, barges! The new EPCOT park map is showing an empty World Showcase Lagoon and advertising EPCOT Forever which returns in just a few days! pic.twitter.com/sg8k5vj4LG

These are little changes that really signify that the 50th celebration has ended and Disney World is moving on.
You’ll also notice that there’s a new walkway between Spaceship Earth and where Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana will be. Also, Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind and Treasures of Xandar are no longer marked as “new.”
