What’s New At Disney World Hotels: Pool and Restaurant Updates!

Welcome back to Disney World’s resorts! A LOT has been happening over here.

Grand Floridian Resort

There are so many hotels to choose from when you go on a Disney World vacation, but how do you know what’s going on at each hotel? We’ve got lists of our favorite hotels, but we also do a roundup of recent info every week or so to keep you updated on EXACTLY what’s happening, so let’s get into it!

Disney’s BoardWalk Resort

Construction Updates

Over at the Luna Park Pool, construction is still in progress on the slide.

The resort’s lobby bathroom is also still under construction.

And to no one’s surprise, the Funnel Cake Stand is still closed!

No one home…

And construction is still going well over at the Cake Bake Shop!

It’s coming along!

That’s what’s happening over at the BoardWalk!

Swan & Dolphin Resorts

Construction Updates

Over at the Dolphin Resort, there’s a lot of pressure washing, cleaning, and construction around the exterior entrance of the resort — the balconies are even being affected!

Scaffolding is also surrounding the sculptures at the top of the hotel.

We spotted construction happening on the new restaurant, Rosa Mexicano.

Construction is right beyond that curtain!

Over at the Swan Resort, we noticed that the area by the rock wall that usually has shaded pool chairs is also currently under construction. The bathrooms are still open, though!

So yes, this resort has a LOT going on.

As for food updates, at Java you can grab the Mocha Kiss Frappe…

For Mardi Gras, the resort played The Princess and the Frog on a blow-up screen and had a cute Mardi Gras photo set up in a blow-up tent next to it.

Over at Riviera Resort, we found out that you can no longer order a second entree as a side at the resort’s restaurants!

Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

Construction Updates

Big progress is being made on the new DVC Villas coming to this resort — the first wall is starting to go up!

It’s so great to see so much progress being made on this project after it sat with little change for a lot of last year.
