NEWS: Disney Chairman Josh D’Amaro Joins the Make-A-Wish Board of Directors

Since 1980, The Walt Disney Company has partnered with Make-A-Wish to make dreams come true.

Dreams Come True

Now, a familiar face is joining the national Board of Directors for Make-A-Wish America.

According to PRNewsWire, The Walt Disney Company and Make-A-Wish America have worked together to make over 145,000 wishes come true for many Make-A-Wish families. Disney also collects the coins often thrown into the fountains around the Parks and has previously donated the money to Make-A-Wish.

After a board meeting on February 3rd, Make-A-Wish announced that the chairman of Disney Parks, Experiences and Products, Josh D’Amaro, would join the board of directors for the company.

“Both Disney and Make-A-Wish understand what a positive impact hope, imagination, and happiness can have on the lives of seriously ill children,” said D’Amaro. “It’s an honor to represent the thousands of Disney cast members around the world who create magic and help make wishes come true every day for these amazing families.”
